why do you need an anniversary for such a shit song
it kind of feels like blonde in a way with the dreamy atmospheres and vocal delivery that's sounds slightly rushed and disorganised in a good way like you're blurting out anything that comes to mind to distract from the pain of losing someone.
despite the bright bubbly cover this album is pretty emo. Definitely an improvement from her last album which was a bit forgettable at times.
10/10 show that got me back into watching television again and as for the soundtrack I feel as though I'm cozied up by the fireplace experiencing the same emotions I did while watching the show
I'm not Canadian but this is for me
thanks to the goat @Cramberri for the recommendation
Now of course I know who Tegan and Sara (the iconic gay sister duo) are but I've never gotten around to their music so I'm actually really hyped to listen to this.
This is classic 2010s pop it's a little dated but so fun you don't even care. I have a soft spot for 2010s pop so this is a guilty pleasure for me. Closer is almost a perfect song the only problem is the synths are so ... read more

now I know the song stupid girl as my mother introduced me to it but I haven't heard the rest of this project.
This is so underrated, I never expected to love this so much. It literally has everything a love about the 90s scene with noise pop, shoegaze, rock, dance-punk and of course a powerful female vocalist.
thanks @Cramberri for the recommendation
What the hell, why are your recommendations so good?!? This album is so stunning down to the textures of the guitars. There's no way to describe why I love this so much, the way it can imminently pull you in and make you feel like you're in this post-apocalyptic dimension. It's ethereal. The jangle pop aspect adds this layer of fun and extra whimsey kind of reminds me of David Bowie's energy on tracks like Wendy Time (which is a ... read more
Being Australian I don't know whether to be proud of this creation or pretend it doesn't exist
@teabrew what the fuck did you make me listen to
thank you @rohansreejith7 for the recommendation
crazy that this was released on 11/1/11. //orangenoise is a group of 4 from Pakistan who released their first single in 2009 and leans into a harsh shoegaze sound. Now I haven't listened to a lot of shoegaze especially the harsher sounding stuff so I'm not expert but this is incredible. The guitar riffs are heavy and sharp, the vocals act like an instrument blending in to the rest of the chaos and the drums are repetitive but in the ... read more
the perfect blend between 80s synth-pop and the 2010s dance-pop. This is one of my dads favourite albums ever which is surprising because he mainly loves industrial rock.
what a crazy debut, some of the best recent emo stuff I've heard.
when I was at a record store today I told the guy it was my birthday and he gave this 7 inch to me for free, genuinely the best birthday gift I've receive
had a headache and decided to give this a listen, the type of music that makes me slow down and think.
my 200th review and it feels fitting
I've been putting off reviewing this for a bit cause I know how hard it is to comment on such a personal and devastating album considering the circumstances.
Released on his 69th birthday, Blackstar is his final album (ignoring the toy album) and definitely his darkest. It's a concept album that doesn't follow a linear story like how the 'Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust' did, more like each song is a building block to the full ... read more
I'm surprised how little this is rated, got to be real is a disco classic
