at some points it feels very generic but generic is still pretty good. I do wish there was more heavier tracks cause thats where I feel she truly shines

I'm conflicted while there are some great songs specifically Heaven's in Here and Under the God the rest is shit

hearing the clicking of the piano keys is so special to me. it feels so humanly mundane like something as simple as not editing them out can add this whole layer of comfort.

the mic crunching multiple times throughout different songs is crazy but I guess it's considered lo-fi for a reason

My dad recommended me this band because they used to play at his highschool and as a half kiwi I can be proud knowing that this rocks!!

my expectations for blackstar is so high I don't think I can review this properly

this cover I find is very comforting, bowie looks so friendly like you could stare into those eyes forever

oh yeah the album all I remember is the line "the girls would turn the colour of a juicy avocado"

aoty so far... when i heard this being described as summer and indie I knew I was in for a good time. yes the mixing could be better but damn it just has a certain comforting feeling to it and thats more magic than any mixing could do.

after I enjoyed bowie's low album I watched a video of him playing it on the heathen tour which was how I was introduced to this album

this feels like david going back to his older work around the berlin trilogy which makes sense since this album is a mix of his older and newer songs. really an album that transcends the need for language. with this being punk I do want to somewhat understand whats going on but the instrumentation is nice. it's easily listenable not too heavy overall I enjoyed this despite dragging on for a bit.
