So, I actually decided to listen to this all the way through for some reason, and... well...
It's still better than Twenty One Pilots tbh.
Favourite Tracks: Levitate; Club Banger
Least Favourite Tracks: Paradice; I Wanna Cry; MY EMO SONG
Wait, who's coming? Whoa, whoa, WHOA WHOA STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!
So I've been avoiding Miley like the plague ever since those two huge singles from 2013 blew up and became pretty much all that was played on the radio in that year. Yeah, I absolutely despised both of those songs and thought that I'd never listen to any of her other stuff, but this intrigued me. People were saying that this wasn't that bad, and I was interested in some of the features on here.
Yeah, I thought this sucked. ... read more
Black Sabbath manage to top their great debut with their sophomore project. Paranoid is perhaps the most influential metal record ever as it really defined the sound of the genre as a whole. This is not only considered one of the best metal albums of all time, but it is often cited as one of the greatest albums of any genre of all time.
Right off the bat, I was surprised by the classics on this album that I somehow didn't even know were by Black Sabbath. War Pigs, Paranoid and Iron Man are all ... read more
The album that started it all: not only did Black Sabbath's debut self-titled album begin their long and successful career, it spawned a genre of its own. A genre that is now one of my favourites and without question my go-to. Metal.
Black Sabbath's self-titled is not only a great way to start off the band's journey, but it's also a great introduction into the world of metal. I feel like the more tame sound of this record in comparison to other artists' would be a great way to introduce ... read more
As a huge RATM fan, I was pretty damn surprised when I only now found out that this exists. This is the earliest work of Zack de la Rocha - vocalist for Rage Against The Machine, who happen to be one of my favourite bands.
This really isn't a bad EP, and it's pretty OK considering this is the only thing in Inside Out's discography. You can really see the signs of early Rage within Zack, he just needed better musicians like Tom with him, not Vic DiCara. Don't get me wrong, the guitar work on ... read more
After 20+ years of nothing, My Bloody Valentine finally release their third album, and follow-up to their critically acclaimed album Loveless. And honestly, this is just about the best outcome they could have had after such a long hiatus.
I feel like this isn't near the quality of Loveless, yet m b v is amazing in its own right. I think that the best way to experience this is to not think of this as a follow-up to Loveless, and rather just another album. I've got to be honest, when it started ... read more
After hearing the masterpiece that was Loveless, I knew that nothing that would have come before that would even come close to that quality. Despite this, I went for their debut album, and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Isn't Anything is definitely an album that is overshadowed by its successor - which is completely understandable - but is still a great album.
Much like Loveless, this record intrigued me right from the start with the distorted, mesmerizing sound. The guitar and the ... read more
I decided to listen to this to help Kengoji Ultam with getting this to 25 ratings. I've got to say, I've never been a fan of country, and this album is no exception. I found this to be mostly just boring, uneventful, and it ultimately became background music. Other than a few lyrics, I really didn't pull anything out of this. This was just a forgettable experience for me.
But yeah, can we help Kengoji get this to 25 ratings? It's pretty damn close now.

Oh boy, this just made my day. I've gotta say, I wasn't hyped for this at all. Although I love My Chemical Romance, I feel like Frank Iero's work post-MCR just isn't that great. I wouldn't say that any of his projects were bad, but they just weren't for me. So when I heard this album, I was extremely surprised when I ended up loving almost the whole thing!
I feel like Barriers really proves that Frank Iero is very much capable of pulling off this punk-rock sound without coming off as extremely ... read more
ZUU? More like Banger: The Album! Because that's basically what this is, an album full of absolute bangers.
I didn't go in expecting to be blown away like I was by TA13OO and Imperial, yet I was still pleasantly surprised. Every one of these songs are so much fun and, as stated before, are just bangers. The production on this thing is fantastic, and Denzel's flows are great. This is a great album to put on if you just want a fun time!
However, I don't think this is anywhere near the quality ... read more

...I have no words. I'm completely speechless. I am floored and am just in amazement from what I've just heard. The experience I've just had cannot be explained by words. This was a completely brain-melting experience. For the whole duration of this album my mouth was agape and my eyes were glued to my monitor, mesmerized by that goddamn album cover and the music. Listening to Loveless gave me an incredibly similar experience to that of my second favourite album of all time, and ... read more
Thank fuck this is as short as it is, because this is Kanye's biggest yawner yet! Jesus Christ, how do so many people love this? This is the definition of AVERAGE.
There's really not much to say. There were some good tracks like Yikes and Violent Crimes, but there were so many bad and some downright terrible tracks like All Mine. I don't understand it. Why do so many people love this? Is it just because it's Kanye? Is it because of the dark themes? This album was so piss-poor that I'm actually ... read more
The Life Of Pablo is one of the better outings I've heard from Kanye. Although I do have some problems with it, I think that this is a very solid release from him.
This album was one of the most fun records that I've had from Kanye. If it wasn't for Late Registration or the fantastic MBDTF, I would have no problem saying that this is his best release yet. Almost every track on here was incredibly enjoyable and just straight-up fun to listen to. This is probably one of, if not, Kanye's best ... read more
This album tries so hard to ride off of the success of Death Grips, but fails so hard that it actually hurt to listen to.
I'm not usually one to have a problem with influences in music, regardless of how heavily influenced it ends up being. But Yeezus sounds like Kanye tried to replicate a Death Grips album but didn't know the best way to go about it, resulting in it being one of his most uninteresting releases yet.
It's a shame: there are some really great tracks on here that prove that ... read more
Watch The Throne is a great collaboration album. I may not have heard any other album from Jay-Z, but I can say that Kanye and him are definitely capable of making some incredible songs.
Most of the love I give this album will likely be due to the fact that I somehow already knew like half of the songs on here, despite me thinking that I'd never even known of this albums existence before this. No Church In The Wild, Niggas In Paris, Otis, Gotta Have It and Why I Love You are all examples of ... read more
Wait a second, this is actually amazing, what the fuck? For once, a Kanye record actually lives up to the hype, I'm surprised.
Right from the get-go, this album proved that it would be one of, if not, Kanye's best releases yet. Dark Fantasy was a fantastic opener that really set the tone for the album as a whole. Gorgeous was a brilliant follow-up to that track and easily one of the best in Kanye's discography so far. To be honest, I can say that about most of the tracks on here: almost all of ... read more
Ayyy, another unpopular opinion on a Kanye record! Only this time, I can't even defend this album and say that it's good. I just think this is average at best.
The classics on this album are really what made this a not-bad listen. Heartless and Love Lockdown really brought me back to when the only exposure to music I had was radio music, and it was really cool and nostalgic to go back to those tracks! Also, most of the first half was actually pretty good. While I wouldn't say any of them were ... read more
Oh shit, I didn't realize they were gonna release multiple albums in one year again, but now I'm hyped.
I honestly didn't expect I'd ever hear new thrash metal in 2019, let alone from a band like King Gizzard. I don't think that this is the greatest song they have, but I'm interested to see what they're going to do with this sound.
Graduation may be the weakest of Kanye's school trilogy, but it's still a pretty good album. I feel like it's dragged down by some bad decisions, but it's good nonetheless.
There are obviously the classic songs on this album that really lift my rating quite a lot. Stronger, Can't Tell Me Nothing, Flashing Lights and Homecoming are all so nostalgic for me and are great tracks even today. Those four alone made me really enjoy this for the most part. That added with other great songs like Good ... read more
Now this is what I wanted from The College Dropout! An incredibly fun hip-hop album with nothing but great tracks!
I'm not even lying, I loved pretty much every aspect of this album. It honestly hurt deciding which tracks were better than others because I loved absolutely everyone of them. Whether it was the extremely nostalgic Touch The Sky and Gold Digger, the fantastic Heard 'Em Say and We Major, or the two catchy Diamonds From Sierra Leone tracks, there was nothing I didn't like about this ... read more
