heyyyy, this is a small text about this account. I decided that I will stop being active in here, as I simply prefer other music sites. I do have a lot of fond memories with this site and I've met multiple cool individuals but I just found myself just using the social features less and less, because of many annoying discussions and people. And aoty without the social features is a pretty diet music rating site imho. There's not much you can do with customization towards your page and ... read more
This is an album that I thought I would enjoy more after I had familiarized myself with electronic music and understanding its exploration of the soullessness of a machine. I was expecting to be able to appreciate its desolate and slightly psychedelic soundscape, as that kind of "thing" appeals to me nowadays. I was happy when I saw I had time today to give this a relisten, after a year or two from my very first.
My happiness was quickly evaporated when I noticed how disgustingly ... read more

THE album of the 2010s. I am reviewing it for two reasons. 1) because I had skipped on a review series I tried doing for the most influential pop music of that decade, which was a BIG mistake from my part, because literally every single popular woman in music sites lana and this album in particular as an influence (btw don't read those old reviews please). And 2) I actually have the willpower to do so! I swear, you don't understand how much more often I want to talk about ... read more
Post-Rock for people who buy their coffee from starbucks
I am nowadays against posting quippy one liners, because they usually get a lot more attention than reviews that have a lot of thought and passion put into them (even though some of those reviewers definitely make sloppy half-assed reviews because they don't really care what they write about, but that's a discussion for another day and they still absolutely thought more about what they were doing than any of those low quality shitposts) ... read more
Hello again
Friend of a friend
Those singles are just getting worse and worse holy fuck. I genuinely really want to be hyped about about their new material but instead I am getting repeatedly blue-balled
This is sadly the emptiest music I've ever heard from those guys and it makes me mad. A meandering soulless ballad that's so floaty that it fails to make an impact and while trying to use jazzy chords to make the song captivating, instead makes it sound even more artificial. Thom's vocals are ... read more
drifting in the outer abyss, wishing upon a love story to happen
one of those ones, that are made looking at the ceiling
The galaxy is also drifting as if the world is changing
the world participates in a revolution
sometimes the wet clothes sleep with us in bed
or it's always
I do not remember the last time it didn't
I remember when I was crying for my pencil case
drifting in the outer abyss thinking of our world
no, actually
I'm thinking of my world

*insert article from the band's wikipedia page on how they formed, that everyone puts on their reviews nowadays. for some fucking reason*
well, now the hoes definitely are scared with this one! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V2sBURgUBI
This album was VERY BAD. I hated the fact that it was avant-garde jazz. Like I know that it's meant to be avant-garde but jesus christ on a motorbike why does it have to be so quirky. WHERE ARE THE MELODIES?????? i'm well versed in ... read more
This so bad wtfffffffff. Bro is giving us leftovers from an already mid album 😭
Shit sounds so cheesy I CAN'T
This is genuinely the funniest meme rap song I've ever heard.
I will say that the emotion of joy resonates within me while listening because of how PURE it feels. It's just the beat and this dude yodeling. It doesn't rely too much on funny pop culture references and instead focuses on sounding as ridiculous as possible. There's something kinda punk about it, as It is not conforming to the status quo and it feels like we're hearing a person express themselves as freely as possible.

The album besides the first two tracks is fucking joyless. Empty songs that repeat at nauseum with an initially cool vocal delivery, that turns grating fast, seem to be this project's bread and butter. It also doesn't help that the album's bottom end is fucked up and that most of the songs here feel so loooooooong. Even Koi Boy which is a less than 3 ... read more

MAN, I hoped this track would be an exception from all those mid "viral from tiktok" songs, but sadly it is not. It barely even feels complete, it just has two verses and a "chorus" if you can even call it that. I know that blah-blah-blah attention spans, blah-blah-blah playstification of music, but could they not have added something more??? It's exactly two minutes.
It also doesn't help that the track itself does ... read more
Reminder that the two discs are meant to be listened to AT THE SAME TIME. It's how the artist intended for the album to be experienced. Altho even the two discs seperate are somewhat enjoyable, you aren't getting the intended experience. The dark ambience mixed with the sludgy riffs and screamed vocals bounce off each other amazingly well and manage to deliver an art piece that's larger than life and crushing. The flow of the album is seamless and it makes feel like one ginormous hour long ... read more
we have a prodigy in our hands
if they don't turn out to be a shitty person like most modern dnb artists, they will have a bright future ahead of them
This project manages to balance a clean and pristine mix without sounding soulless, ranging from the punchy breakbeats to the dreamy synths and pads. But it also has rawer moments where some rock edge pushes through and makes the project have more dimensions. Yet it always sounds like a dream, where you live in a beach house in which the floors ... read more

Very brave mix of electro-industrial and screamo. It pans out in spades!!!!! This is proof that you don't need good recording equipment or a high budget to have a music listener's mind...blow up (hehehehehehe). An example of why we need to shine a light on artists that aren't as popular from time to time and that creativity exists everywhere as long as we're willing to take risks with our listening habits, the same way an artist will risk wide appeal for something that they feel is ... read more
impressive sound design. Really makes you FEEL like you are egg being fried. With all the sizzles and the frying sounds. My brain now feels like that egg that was fried all those years ago for that ep, which is prolly a shitpost but I don't care. I never felt my skull get hugged by sound like this before. #EGGSWEEP #EGGFRY2HITSONGOFTHESUMMER
