Not seeing many changes in his style, so I don't really care for this mixtape, but it is a slight improvement from his last album.
This mf does everything in his music himself and manages to be a phenomenal rapper and producer and has some of the wildest and most creative samples I've ever heard. He's also able to consistently make music while not missing a single time. Good lord.
Idk why he's staring at me like that, but while I think the production is just as creative, unhinged, and possibly good as Veteran, the thing that makes this a worse album is the vocals, which I don't think he did nearly as good on this album.
Now The Strokes be sounding all jolly with their music. It's good, but doesn't fit them nearly as well and isn't nearly as memorable or consistent as their earlier work.
So this is apparently supposed to be one of, If not the weakest and worst Strokes album? I don't just disagree, I genuinely don't understand what people Don't like with this album.
This is a huge improvement. More memorable production, flows, and features.
But why the hell is this called Alfredo 2 if it's a picture of ramen?? Like, you had one job, you could've just called it Ramen, it's not that hard. You even have a song called Gas Station Sushi! Are we being deadass here?
Madlib>>>>>>>>>>>>The Alchemist.
This is one of those albums where all the songs are great, but there are no standouts(except maybe Babies & Fools).
There ain't much to talk about here, but I would never complain about a short, nearly skipless tracklist.
In honor of Ozzy, we're doing a review on the most iconic Black Sabbath album, Paranoid. And it's iconic for good reason.
Everything in this album just works so well. Ozzy's vocals with the sometimes random noises and voice changes and the fire guitar riffs, this album just makes sense.
And all that stuff is the reason why it's so iconic. The sounds and guitar riffs(especially those goddamn guitar riffs) makes this album appeal to literally everyone, even people who ... read more
Madlibs production needs to be studied, like in a lab, by professionals. And then Freddies perfect flows and a near perfect feature list, this is one of the most pure enjoyable rap album experiences you could have.
And now he's making more intense, catchier, and somewhat part rock music kinda. Truly an album of all time.
Now he needs to work on his voice AND his lyrics. It's not a bad album, just not something I would revisit.
I did love this thing, I just have to take a few points off because it's obviously not of great "quality", and I can't imagine how ass this would've been if I didn't follow rule 1.
Not as good as it is influential, and it also doesn't have too many memorable moments, all the songs are just good but nothing stands out. That being said, I did say that ALL the songs are good.
I just wasted 1h & 30 mins of my life listening to an album that, despite being so long, has literally no memorable moments or huge highlights.
This manages to somehow be even more impressive and ahead of its time than their debut LP.
