Here's the problem with SOAD. Let's say that you're trying to get into metal, a lot of people will tell you that SOAD is a great place to start, so you listen to them, and now you obviously love metal. So now you try to find some other great metal music out there. You search, and search, and search, and you might find some great music, but the problem is, SOAD is kinda as good as metal gets, so now you had huge expectations for a genre and accidentaly start with the best one. So ... read more
Obviously not as consistent as RD but why am I kinda developing a soft spot for someone just spitting sum shit I ain't paying no attention to over a mid boom-bap beat.
Say what you want about Jay-Z, whether it's the inconsistency in his catalog, or his relationship with a particular person that shall remain nameless, the aura of the swagger in his music is something every gangster-rapper and hitmaker wants, but nobody has been able to replicate.
What are these amazing artists and bands obsession with going out with their worst album?

Update: It's growing worse on me over time which was expected
It's fine but it's so lazy. the beats are just bun da bun da with no sense of any soul like we're in a Bad Bunny album, which I expected to grow on me overtime, hence why I'm reviewing this a couple days late, but this album accomplished nothing. It's not experimental, it's not Kevin "finding his new sound", it's just him trying to and failing for the most part. There are ... read more
When people are discussing who the most talented musician of all time is, I don't think Damon Albarn gets credited enough. Like I'm not saying he's the greatest to ever do it but I AM saying that he should be in the conversation. If you somehow don't know, Damon is the creator of the 90s rock band Blur. Blur had enough bangers and a consistent enough catalog at the time to be loved by basically everyone.
Fast forward to the 2000s and while Blur is still making consistent ... read more
Sooooo... How am I supposed to enjoy this knowing the bittersweet truth that these guys hated eachother, did drugs(or maybe that was just Lennon, I haven't really kept up), and generally were just unhappy about how the band turned out?
Like, overall, pretty dang good album, but this is the last album in their catalog, I just finished like 14 albums or something, so you're really just gonna make what is your most successfull and arguably best album in your carreers, then give us an ... read more
This is to the guy who calls The Beatles overrated while they have only heard the chorus of Here Comes The Sun.
I don't think I can put together the right words and form a proper sentence that accurately describes how boring and uninteresting this album is to me.
This is genuinely one of the best sounding albums I've ever heard. honestly every songs sound on this album is near perfect to perfect. So, why is this not a 100? Every time I hear one of the songs I'm like "yo, this sounds sick" and then like a few centuries later, THE SONG IS STILL GOING. And it's just repeating the same thing over & over again like I GET IT, NEXT TRACK PLEASE.
This is the mixest bag of all mixed bags. It has a great deal of variety, but it's sometimes just so bland and boring, like there's still peak in there, but you don't go back to the full album. So it's like the musical equivalent of a bag of Gardetto's snack mix.
This is arguably the greatest album title of all time. Like this literally feels like you're on a tour of a magical.. mystery, you get what I mean.
This is what the nerd in your school named Gerald who turned into a "gangster" over summer break will call "real hip-hop".
Damn, I'm late with this review, but anyways, do you want to know why Sgt. Peppers is so influential? Because every song does something new, whether it's a new story to tell or a new sound, there's always something new about this album. A Day in the Life kinda hard carries though but the rest of the album is still fire.
Bro, the first part of this review sounded like an intro to a hella long review but this is all you get. "I made reviews today, oh boy- about a Beatles LP ... read more
I don't think I've seen an album age this well ever.
The fact that they can make an album with an old school, sometimes even medieval sound also sound futuristic to this day blows my godamn mind. It's like they were travelers from the future, making futuristic sounding music but in a way people at the time could understand. Or maybe I'm just glazing but like IS TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS A REAL SONG?

Yes! We've finally reached the turning point of The Beatles carrers!

It's marked now so we can remember this day.
God, what a switch up. I think i've said this before, but it's so wild when an artist/band makes good, but not amazing, an kind of carefree music, and then they just out of nowhere make beautiful music, with great production and lyrics that had actual storytelling. Yes, these guys made music with story and meaningful lyrics in THE GODAMN MID 60S. Hello? I ... read more
Fun fact: Yesterday is the song with the most official covers recorded in music history.
It's kinda overrated tho but don't tell anybody I said that.
