You know what, no comment. I'm not repeating the same thing I did on their other albums.
I'm officially retiring from listening to Ye. Why are we still entertained by this guy? There's obviously no chance hes gonna make a comeback, so what is the point of listening to him? The guy is obviously profiting off all of this, so how about we all just quit listening. Y'all acting like there ain't other artists in the world and you're depending on Ye to make a comeback and change. Just quit paying attention to him.
They've managed to out-mid themselves. can we just skip to the peak section of their catalog already?
There is absolutely nothing to say about this thing that I didn't say about their debut. I barely even said anything about their debut but this is just made for swaying in a bar in the 60s so how am I supposed to say anything.
I mean... It's fine. It's aight, nothing special. like it's good. I wouldn't personally return to it. Y'know, cool album from the most critically acclaimed band of all time. Obviously overglazed by critics like wtf is a 91. It's cool.
It amazes me when an artist/band makes consistently good music, and I'm like "yeah, these guys are pretty fire" and then all of a sudden 💥BAM💥 and they make some of the best music I, and the general public has ever heard out of nowhere.
This album is where Led Zeppelin got legend status due to this being their most critically acclaimed and successful album commercially, where they got respect from just about everyone including non-rock fans. Like, I've literally heard ... read more
This album feels like a cheesy high school musical in an album.
Ngl I can't think of what more to say. Oh! Oh! Let's guess the correct answer for the four questions at the start of the album.
1st question: "How many feathers are on a Perdue chicken?" Ummm... None? Idk man.
2nd question: "How many fibers are intertwined in a shredded wheat biscuit?" 2g per biscuit or sum(prob way off).
3rd question: "What does 'Tuhs eht lleh pu' mean?" "You ... read more
A$AP was on top of the damn world when he made this. Genuinely how do you get Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, AND Big K.R.I.T on the SAME SONG, let alone album.
Honestly a little overhated in Led Zeppelin's discography. I really loved the weird sounds and styles they did on this album, even tough they didn't always land.
Kinda like in the end of the album, because I was so diggin' this album until I got to the last few songs, because it's not like the songs were bad, but HOW do you end such a phenomenal album like that. before them I really thought this was gonna be the best of the first three self-titled albums. But I mean, Since ... read more
One of the smoothest jazz journeys I've been on. It's so engaging and entertaining yet also just so pleasant to the ears that it almost becomes addicting.
When I'm about to kill the mosquito in my room at 3 AM but the mf starts playing this banger:
Going into this album, I expected something kinda on par with the first self-titled, maybe slightly worse, but while I liked this, it was really disappointing.
Most of the songs aren't even that hard-hitting, so how am I gonna really enjoy this album when it lacks what's easily the best part of the band. And also, you can't really say "they're just trying something new, quit hating" because they kinda didn't, they just made the Same music again just with most ... read more
It basically alternates back and forth between really catchy, groovy songs and chill, relaxing songs. While I prefer the groovy songs 100x more, this is still an enjoyable experience front to back. Also, Superstition alone gives this album 5 more points.
Fire album to listen to if you're just really mad at something and want to loosen it up a bit by swinging around your entire room like you just took the biggest dose of crack in your life.
This album feels like the last 10 years of rap in one album. The first few songs have pretty luxury production that sounds a bit like Kanye, then it sounds like Q-Tip, and the performances sound a bit like Jay-Z or Andre3000. But this album is still really flawed since... y'know... half the album is just interludes.
The lyrics and rapping are obviously not that good, but if you just turn off your brain and listen, it's actually a pretty enjoyable experience, despite being very repetitive.
Super strange album. I mean, the production is definitely there, but It's not like that's what you focus on(most of the time).
The rapping is truly amazing, but idk if I'm supposed to be paying attention to the lyrics because I'll hear him talk about struggles with addiction and stuff, and then in the next song it's just a bunch of sex talk.
I'll give it to him that his voice is amazing. One of the most powerful and unique voices I've heard in hip-hop. So he ... read more
I... Why... What is this? What is happening? And the elephant in the room, how does it work so well?
This is genuinely one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. I love the flows, I love the unhinged production, and I love the aggressive delivery. But I also hate how much I love those things.
Everything is just so unique, but not to the point where it becomes unlistenable, but more to the point where every song becomes entertaining to listen to throughout the whole album.
Idk who is ... read more
"Mom, I got an A on my test"
"But your cousin gets straight A+'s and has been working three separate jobs since he was five and has four families across four countries"
Prince is that one cousin.
Now that I've tried to be relatable about strict parents despite being a caucasian kid from the suburbs, let's talk about an album that is often considered one of the best of all time. And it is also not the craziest thing in the world to say that.
The reason I did ... read more
Some of the most epic rock music of its time. but damn I wish Communication Breakdown was longer. That song is a masterpiece.
