Daft punk goes for a concept they don't elaborate much about accompanied by their most repetitive and irritating sound design trying a rock lo-fi vibe that never succeeds as well as some of their laziest and uninspired sampling
pop/americana/RnB/trap/country record that can't do any of those right
emotional and blissful with an open to interpretation narrative although it often mirrors other acts sound slowing down the momentum it creates with it's most imaginative singles
a love project inspired in 2000's techno music and LAIN, a music palette tastefully improved on from it's inspiration, however if you know happen to know everything that inspired this album it loses it's aura of mystery and becomes a little transparent and formulaic
this feels like a victory lap to Carly's successful shift in sound in EMOTION
a bold and risky shift in sound that both honors daft punks influences and serves as a breathe of fresh air for all the current state of music daft punk inspired with homework
it has a strong funky disco vibe but it feels empty like it was supposed to have vocals and they scratched them last minute
