I give it a bit of grace considering what this album was trying to be, but it does genuinely feel barely listenable at some points, with only a couple small highs.

I don't think it's horrible, but a lot of the songs are way too samey. Fifty minutes of bbno$ is also a bit much, I think a 20-30 minute album would've been way better, especially considering that a large portion of the track list are singles, and are quite old (I think around a year old at max.) Judged the album heavily by the cover at first, but I'm so glad I listened to this as it's genuinely one of the most gut-wrenching albums I've ever listened to. The guitar on this album is some of the best I've heard out of a recent album, and you can just feel their emotions in the vocals. The last song is also absolutely beautiful and a perfect finale for this very long album. In my opinion it stands up with some of the greats, and that is no easy task.

This was an extremely good project, and I cannot believe it took me this long to listen to anything JID related, but I am definitely excited for what the future holds for JID.

I feel like this album gets super overshadowed due to how good Illmatic is, but it's still extremely good and I find myself revisiting it often.

Underrated DOOM album imo.

Connecticut is a pretty underrated place.

Such a weird melancholic album all the way through, while still having fun and poppy songs in the mix. There isn't much more to be said about this album that hasn't already been said, but either way, I love it.
