Tim Fuckley unleashes his inner monkey and casts the Curse of Imhotep onto innocent passersby who saw the handsome young gentleman on the cover and thought this would be a nice smooth singer-songwriter album.
Extremely fascinating and ahead of its time, with some amazing vocal performances. Switches between "catchy-weird" and "absolutely nightmare inducing-weird" fairly quickly. Truly the final boss of folk music. Don't play the title track in front of grandma.

Standout tracks: "Juleček", "Uprosťred slov", "Soubor opatření"

I have nostalgia for some really weird things, but god damn, this super obscure MS-DOS Sokoban clone from 1999, Czech Republic, where you play as ladybugs has lived rent-free in my head for almost two decades now.
Genuinely one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time. I don't know how to describe or classify this. It's surprisingly really atmospheric and dark at times, but also funky and electronic at other times. There's vinyl ... read more
