Gunna had accusations of being a rat and it distracted everyone from the fact he's ass and it shows here. Lil Baby isn't much better.
EDIT 50 -> 64 because it wasn't as bad as I remembered
A great project from the duo. Being in semi-lockdown but listening to this made it a bit more worth it.
Definitely overhated, NAV does well on Metro's beats and the beats are definitely quality. The features on the mixtape are also pretty good.
They hate on NAV and sometimes its deserved. It is a very NAV like project, some good, some bad, a lot of mid. I really do hope he can evolve into a great artist, but with every project it looks less and less likely.
Carti's best project by far. Not too much experimenting compared to his other 2 albums and it makes this the best one.
POP OUT and CRUSH almost made me turn it off, but K POP saved it. He mixes a lot of Hip-Hop subgenres in this album, and some come off well and some don't. Other highlights throughout the mixtape are too fast, ocean, brazzier (the bass on this one I absolutely love), told my, oath and aye say gang. However, Future is actually vulnerable on lost my dog, something we don't see too often, and definitely something I wasn't expecting from the ... read more
RIP Juice WRLD. This mixtape doesn't really play to either of their strengths, but thinking about how Grade A have ruined Juice's discography, it isn't bad for him. For Pluto, this mixtape will probably fade because it isn't a stain on his discography but not a grail either.
