Pink Floyd’s sophomore record, A Saucerful of Secrets, is even more psychedelic than their debut, which is for the worse. Like The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, there are forgettable and boring moments, but it is more severe here. The vocal performances are much softer, as well as much of the instrumentation, which is primarily why this is more boring than the debut. Overall, not as solid as TPATGOD, though it is still commendable and definitely has its moments.

Wow, this is disgusting. It’s basically poorly played instruments and Yoko Ono singing in her signature awful style, as well as occasional strange audio clips. Throwing together these already bad things doesn’t create something good, it may be considered “avant-garde”, but it sure as hell isn’t listenable or in the slightest bit enjoyable.

Almost every track sounds the exact same. It’s almost like DaBaby is intentionally using the same production and flows over and over. This repetitive style works sometimes, but not enough to make Kirk memorable or good.
Favorite Tracks: Intro, Bop, Gospel
Least Favorite Track: iPhone (DaBaby’s singing and flows are awful)
Though there are a few forgettable and boring moments on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, it’s still a really enjoyable debut psychedelic rock record by Pink Floyd.
Favorite Tracks: Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam, Matilda Mother, Flaming, Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk, Interstellar Overdrive, Scarecrow
Least Favorite Track: Pow R. Toc. H. (a really forgettable instrumental cut)
Rodeo, Travis’ debut album, is a hypnotic set of trap bangers that have surprisingly great vocal performances and songwriting, as well as unbelievable production.
Favorite Tracks: Pornography, Oh My Dis Side, 3500, 90210, Pray 4 Love, Antidote, Maria I’m Drunk, Flying High, I Can Tell, Apple Pie
Least Favorite Track: Piss On Your Grave (Kanye is very unlikable on this track)
Thom Yorke’s heavenly vocals, the delicate, but memorable instrumentation, and the great songwriting all come together on In Rainbows, one of Radiohead’s best albums, as well as a perfect album.

Floral Shoppe is divided involving many people’s opinions. Some love the record because of its immersive atmospheres, others think it’s lazy and dislike it. I don’t enjoy as much as others, but I do respect the album for being so innovative and influential to future vaporwave projects and showing that the genre can be phenomenal and beautiful.

Exmilitary is a very intense and loud debut mixtape from Death Grips and its fantastic. Mc Ride brings his regularly crazed vocals and the mad and sometimes sampled instrumentation matches his voice exceptionally well. An amazing record from Death Grips, that was a great forerunner for future albums.
Favorite Tracks: All, except Cut Throat and 5D
Least Favorite Track: Cut Throat or 5D (slightly pointless instrumental cuts, though they are not bad)
Descendents’ first album, Milo Goes to College, is a short but fun punk rock album that is energetic and packs interesting lyrical matter into one to two minute tracks. My only complaint is that some of the vocals are awkward and they make parts of the record feel dorky, but this aspect doesn’t harm the album severely. Overall, a really solid punk album that doesn’t surprise me that other artists were influenced by.

Though I do enjoy a majority of the instrumentation on this album, almost all of the vocals ruin their potential by their awkwardness. Big Bag is really the only good track here, every other track is weak.
Favorite Track: Big Bag
Least Favorite Track: Lights On (vocals are very awkward)
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea may be my favorite album of all time. It provides outstanding folk instrumentation and otherworldly vocals that are very impressive wether they are soft or manic. There are many moments where Jeff Mangum’s vocals come off as unbelievably passionate, like on Two-Headed Boy, where he will sing insanely during the verses. I just cannot emphasize enough how great his vocals are and how impactful they make the lyrics. The record is also strangely deceptive. Many ... read more

Collapse EP is a solid set of fast-paced and dynamic IDM tracks that are an excellent addition to Aphex Twin’s already great discography.
Favorite Tracks: T69 collapse, 1st 44, MT1 t29r2
Least Favorite Track: abundance10edit[2 R8’s, FZ20m & a 909], (isn’t very dynamic, leading to boringness)
Despite some of the worst songwriting and vocals I’ve ever heard, Clout Chaser is laughably bad, so it’s more tolerable than a blatantly bad album with nothing going for it.

Least Favorite Track(s): All, but Celina if I had to choose, (shockingly bad vocals, but even worse than the other tracks)
Bruce Springsteen has always been a passionate vocalist and Born to Run solidifies that. His vocals are my highlight of the album, he has so much energy and charisma it’s difficult not to enjoy his performances. The instrumentation is fantastic as well, consisting of epic guitar and piano chords that compliment Bruce’s vocals very well. To summarize, Born to Run is the epitome of a great heartland rock record.

What may be the most influential no wave album of all time, Suicide’s eponymous debut record was a one of a kind album, during a time period where punk rock was slowly taking over worldwide. Suicide is a very bleak showcasing of minimalistic production, disturbed vocals, and unsettling songwriting. Unlike others later in the genre, Suicide is much more memorable than those artists because of how troubling their music is. Frankie Teardrop is the perfect example of what I’m talking ... read more
Despite Comethazine slightly improving over Bawskee 3.5, he still has much room for improvement. His vocal performances still come off as boring much of the time, even if there is solid production. Some performances are good, but not enough of them are in the track list to balance out many other boring tracks. So overall, Pandemic is just another mediocre project from Comethazine.
Favorite Tracks: Permanent, Get Out, Plottin’
Least Favorite Track: Pitbull (really boring vocals)
Future Nostalgia will be an album of the year contender, mainly due to Dua Lipa’s lovely vocals, great disco inspired production, and her impressive modern approach to dance pop and disco. A great record, that I will certainly come back to throughout the year.
Favorite Tracks: Future Nostalgia, Don’t Start Now, Cool, Physical, Hallucinate, Love Again, Break My Heart, Boys Will Be Boys
Least Favorite Track: Good In Bed (the lyrics and vocals are slightly irritating)
Pretentious, annoying, bland, and boring is exactly what ADHD is. There are so many boring tracks and bland hooks on this album it’s almost unbearable, especially when Joyner decides to add auto-tune. When he does that, it’s boring and somehow obnoxious simultaneously. The boringness from these tracks come from Joyner’s boring or obnoxious flows and vocals. He also takes a “no mumble rap” approach, which doesn’t make up for his lack of talent and personality. ... read more
