This thing literally exudes the essence of being cool without trying. Totally laid back and well paced. Incredibly well produced and performed, does not feel like a 71 minute album.

Total musical journey. Crazy production and lyrics that all play nicely into the central theme. This was a great and fun listen, sounds like a movie with all the skits, just feeds into a banger after another.

Absolutely love this album. The two "skits" play very well into setting up the theme and atmosphere on the album. The rapping is top notch, keeping the humor from previous projects while also bringing in darker themes. All the beats have an interesting digital horror sound to them, being extremely different than something from Operation Doomsday or Madvillainy. Those two previous sound like they are ... read more

Probably the best (solo) album to drop out of Wu-Tang. RZA's incredible production matches up perfectly with the performances from Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. Well placed features also, could practically be a Wu-Tang album in of itself.
Favorite Song: Ice Cream
JPEGMAFIA delivered exactly what I wanted from an album out of him. Gritty and industrial, with a ton of songs that make me want to start punching holes in walls. With some also great cuts from a more introspective and stripped back production. I love the use of the guitars, and more rock focused production. This really feels like his best project so far.
Favorite Song: either on or off the drugs
Great album to workout to. The pacing from front to back with the different music styles is interesting, no skips on this one.
Favorite Song: VENGEANCE l VENGEANCE
Drake at his peak, full of energy (no pun intended) and laid back late night car ride rap and r&b. Would like to see him put something like this out again.
Favorite Song: Energy
The best project he put out, one of my personal favorite projects. Eerie how much foreshadowing is present.
Favorite Song: Polo Jeans
22 track album that comes in at 46 minutes. Well paced with nicely placed instrumental breaks and well timed skits. Madlib and DOOM are two peas in a pod on this one. Absolutely ridiculous how well this aged, sounds like it could've came out today.
Favorite Song: Fancy Clown
Great first project with Griselda. The label showed up to support and make an already gret album from rom better. Especially the Conductor Williams production.
Favorite Song: Serving
Kendrick at his most honest. Feels like a piece of art, and a great progression as an artist.
Favorite Song: Father Time
Didn't know what I was missing out on for so long. Felt like an adventure.
Favorite Song: No Surprises
Killer album with stellar production, a step up, and more of what was great from the first RTJ
Favorite Song: Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)
