This album makes me feel like my flesh is being picked apart by a vulture.

Pleasant listen for my first King Gizzard album. Not the type of album I expected to hear (but quite honestly I had no idea what to expect). Interested in checking out some other projects from their discography.
Favorite Song: Le Risque
Bro is horny as hell. There's a couple good songs but this felt like a really long hour.

HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!
I really wanted to like this album, I've given it quite a few listens through at this point and I can't find the appeal. The performances sound so glossy and shiny it is almost annoying to listen to. Some feel just like a song you'd hear in a commercial for a F-150, I'm not sure if that was the point of the title. Maybe pop country just isn't for me but extra listens are not improving my view on this album. I can see why others will enjoy this ... read more

A friend I had said my reviews are too positive, so here I am trying to balance out my profile.
I decided to go with one I previously reviewed and took down on the standard edition of For All The Dogs. An album I really was looking forward to on the buildup to the drop, but everytime I go back to it I'm just more disapointed each time.
This could have been a good album, the original drop for it is super lacking, 23 songs and I only added 5 to my library. I added more songs on the Scary ... read more

This seriously feels like a time machine into the 70's. You absolutely feel the disco energy this is giving off, and it paints a vivid picture as it goes along. It does feel a lil front loaded (the first two songs are the best), but there's never a bad moment on the whole piece.

I really like the blown out vocals on this one. Catchy guitar riffs and hooks. Really fun garage rock. Makes me feel like I'm hanging out the sunroof of a car.

First listen through of a jazz-rock album. Every instrument felt like it was being played by a master, hearing sounds I thought not possible on several songs. The amount of incredible solos is insane. The longer song lengths fit in really well, super fun listen front to back.

First Björk album I've ever listened to (shocker!). I've been putting here discography off for awhile but this list has 3 different albums from her. First impressions off of this one were not good. This is definitely one that took me a second listen around to really understand what she is trying to go for. A futuristic pop extraviganza. I really like the instrumental choices and Björk has ... read more

I've never given a death metal album a full front to back listen before, man was this thing insane. Blown away from the riffs that were being played, the singer just screaming his brains out. The intro track sounds like the end of the world what a good opener.

While an enjoyable album for sure, the interludes don't work as well as I'd want them too, and a couple songs bring down the project a bit. Still wouldn't mind giving this another front to back listen later on.

This album fucking bangs. Vocals make my skin crawl in a good way and the instrumentals are absolutely killer. Not a single bad moment in here.

When I heard the genre "Ambient Techno", I was a little cautious. Although after giving this thing a couple spins its pallet of sounds is insane. Incredible choice of the included instruments, each feel like they were carefully thought about before being placed in. The minimal soundscape make this a really unique project, definitely one of the vibiest albums of all time.

The DJ Premier beats on this album are ridiculous. Not a single bad beat on the entire project. Guru was also rapping his head off the whole time, catchy flows and slick verses. The might be the best producer rapper duo of all time.

What a album start to finish, kicks off with an absolute banger. Vocals mix very well with the rough alt-rock mix of instruments pairing it. This album is absolutely filthy.
