"Awaken, My Love!" is a trip back to the 70's soul act that influenced many modern rappers such as Kanye, Kendrick, Tyler and mister Donald Glover. And this LP does feel from the past, it doesn't fit compared to other 2016 mainstream albums (considering this one had a lot of hits like: Me And Your Mama or Redbone), and I love the fact that it has this timeless feeling.

From Genesis To Revelation, the legendary band their not so legendary debut. This pop / rock album has barely any prog tendencies, and it has more soul aspects. That makes this album unique in their catalog. No Hackett and no Collins.

The famous pop punk band "blink-182" is a group I'm not a fan of. I really don't like the pop punk movement as a whole, I do admire some bands like Green Day or The Offspring, but I usually don't come back to these bands or albums.

When The Pawn... Is the most popular release by the New York artist Fiona Apple. She has a very consistent catalog of a lot of critically acclaimed albums like: Tidal or Fetch the bolt cutters. This one is also a cult classic and a very good release.

I'm a pretty big STP fan, so for me to enjoy this record wasn't hard at all. Shangri La Dee Da was at the moment their last record after being together for 11 years as a band. This album was intended to be a double LP, but was cut short to 13 tracks, which makes the album a consistent ride.

Graduation is the last album of Kanye's initial trilogy, that is one of the most critically acclaimed hip hop runs of all time. This record was a change for Kanye, his sound starts to include way more electronic samples and synths, which change the mood and vibe into a nostalgic one. Tho 808's would later emphasize on that sound and make it more melancholic.
