Los Prisioneros - Corazones
60

Deftones - Deftones
80

Deftones self titled release is a very conflicted and weird album, I've always defended this one with my heart and it has been one of my favorites around the years. It has many of their most bizarre and heavy tracks that altered their sound into a more experimental wave. And I mostly see people rank this one in their low half, but today I'll try to explain why this one should stand high in their ranking.

First of all, this one is underrated as hell, a lot of their best material is on here and ... read more

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
50

If you've been following this page for a while you probably would've noted that I'm not the biggest fan of Drake. I think that his music is mostly bland and weak, and albums like Scorpion, Honestly Nevermind and Certified Lover Boy are some examples of the boring material he has put out over the years. But for a long time people have stated this mixtape as Drake's best project to date, and that has gotten me excited to check it out.

"If You're Reading It's Too Late" definitely ... read more

King Crimson - The Power to Believe
60

This album is a massive improvement over "The ConstruKction of Light", and often when people talk about this LP we tend to compare it with it's predecessor, and this review won't be any different from those comparations. Right off the bat we get a more energetic sound, with "Level Five" this record opens up in an engaging way that overshadows "The ConstruKction of Light" instantly.

King Crimson - The ConstruKction of Light
50

This album is a chaotic mess and to me the black sheep in King Crimson's discography. Showcasing one of their weakest material and tracks that sound awful and it managed to become the fans least favorite album by the band. So by this intro you probably guessed that this one is my least favorite by the band, and in this review I'm gonna explain my issues with this controversial album.

First of all I don't think that this one is the worst thing I've listened to, but it just sounds disconnected ... read more

King Crimson - THRAK
70

In 1995 a certain prog band came back with a another new recreation of their sound into a modern industrial rock sound combined with some prog metal elements, yes it was King Crimson and the project that came out of that blend of incredible sounds was Thrak, which is an album that was one of King Crimson's last great albums to come out (or the last). So I'm gonna try and explain why this album is so damn good.

First of all I wanted to recognize that this record has many flaws and some dull ... read more

Muse - Will of the People
30

Won't Stand Down surprised many listeners with the metal ambient, and many thought Muse would go in that direction, which was a new sound that I didn't dig as much as people do. But then singles like Will Of The People and Compliance showed the true faces of this album: cheesy, mediocre and disappointing are some few words that come to mind while listening to this, cause I expected absolutely nothing by this band, and somehow they still managed to disappoint me.

Deftones - Adrenaline
70

"Adrenaline" is in my opinion nu metal's finest album. Appearing as one of the first album from the genre to get insanely popular thanks to hits like: Bored and 7 Words. I know that the band doesn't consider themselves to be nu metal, but their initial roots are from this musical scene. But the point of this review is to show how important this album is for the history of the band and that it remains consistent till today.

Air - Moon Safari
80

Moon Safari is a project that I've always really wanted to talk about, it's a very calm and satisfying record with a lot of the most subtle and delicate sounds that create an important atmosphere for the feeling and sentiment of the album. I personally don't enjoy this one as much as people tend to do, but I still do like this one a fair lot, since for a long time many of these tracks like Sexy Boy or Kelly Watch The Stars are ones I come back to sometimes.

This album sounds very neat and ... read more

King Crimson - Three of a Perfect Pair
80

"Three Of A Perfect Pair" is a weird album for King Crimson, cause it's quite of a mixed bag that has some great remarkable pop songs and also has useless instrumentals that destroy the consistency of the record. But for now this one has the weakest I've listened by them, but have this in mind, someday I'll own every King Crimson album, so this one is still on my record list, and that shows how their discography is.

I think that overall while this one is a step down from Discipline ... read more

King Crimson - Beat
90

Beat is an underrated piece of work in King Crimson's discography, while it does land in the 80's pop category, it represents a more unique way of interpreting that sound and transforming it into a prog version of itself. So to everyone hating on this LP, You outta your god damn minds?, this one is a classic, I would personally rate it higher out of pure enjoyment, but sometimes in life you need to be critical, so here we are.

Panic! at the Disco - Viva Las Vengeance
20

Viva Las Vengeance is one of the lamest projects I've listened to this year and in my life as a whole. This album straight up doesn't feel natural, it feels like a product that uses the bands name to get some money. And it's not even well portrayed, cause the performance is wack and that's mainly thanks to the vocals, that steal the show by being horrifying.

Ases Falsos - Juventud Americana

King Crimson - Discipline
80

Discipline was the return of King Crimson after the hiatus caused from the disband by Robert Fripp. And King Crimson came back sounding fresh and new, with a versatile and creative sound that would serve as a landmark to their 80's sound. And honestly out of their 80's albums this one is my favorite by a long stretch cause I think that feels more well composed and structured than "beat" or "three of a perfect pair".

This album really is excellent, it shows how King Crimson ... read more

Steve Lacy - Gemini Rights
60

Gemini Rights is a pretty ok project that I think has been very overhyped lately, because honestly I think that this record is quite inconsistent in it's respective runtime, which is not much actually. Counting with 9 songs and 1 interlude this album doesn't know how to be the most engaging version of itself.

Look before continuing this review: I wanted to formally apologize to the Steve Lacy fanbase, which is actually a very solid one that does nothing but gain my respect for the artist, ... read more

mgk - mainstream sellout
10

Ok so Mainstream Sellout is the follow up to "Tickets To My Downfall", should be a hard job right?, no and yet he failed at making a good album. I think that this album is yet another lame project in his awful discography, cause honestly I only enjoy one single track of his entire catalog, and he has 7 albums god damn.

Ok, so when getting into an MGK album you would expect cringe lyrics, corny riffs and bad features, and on here it's nothing different to the rest. I would say this ... read more

King Crimson - Starless and Bible Black
70

Starless And Bible Black is another example of consistency in King Crimson's discography. And tho to me it didn't represent my overall taste in their sound, over time I've learnt to like it more and more to the point were I consider it to be one of the bands best records out there. But before getting into this review, this one won't be my best analysis I've done, since today I've been quite busy with other stuff, so I'll try my best.

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Cheat Codes
80

Cheat Codes is what I love in hip hop, I honestly I was expecting nothing getting into this record, but I just grabbed a present surprise, with many of these tracks being top quality rap tunes. I think that this album is very well structured and built, it feels really consistent and interesting from start to finish. And that keeps me engaged with the LP and also makes me feel like I want more from it.

So on here we see great rappers like Black Thought and Danger Mouse fuel this LP with ... read more

Tones And I - Welcome To The Madhouse

Honestly this is one of the most horrifying encounters I've had with any type of music. It doesn't really have any redeeming qualities at all, and that's even hard to imagine. So if someday your thinking of listening to this just to check it out, don't do it, save yourself while you can. This thing is the worst piece of art (should I even call it that) that has touched my ears.

King Crimson - Islands
70

I always hear horrible rants against this album, but is Islands a black sheep in King Crimson's discography?, NO! I can't tolerate when people rank this one as the worst, because to it's core it's a beautiful form of the progressive and mad world of what this band is. And all that beauty is backed by incredible jazzy compositions with some incredible but subtle drumming and orchestration.

But my dear friends I will still by critical here, so being honest, is this a perfect jazz-prog rock ... read more
