A creative genre blend of blues rock and noise rock that shines more often than not. It’s got a lot of things going for it, from a lead singer with a unique vocal style to excellent background vocals to catchy instrumentals to solid production. The only issue I have is that Undoer feels way too long and the breakdown near the end feels likes unnecessary than artful. All together, solid job.

One of my favorite projects in a genre that I don’t normally listen to all that often. I love the unique song structures and use of sampling here. There’s so much creativity pouring out of this project, and I love it. What I don’t love is that sometimes the production can be irritating. It isn’t all the time, but it ruins a few songs that otherwise would be rated much higher.

I can’t say I like the direction Paramore went with this. I love Paramore because of the powerfully emotional songs they wrote in the 2000s. Even though this album is more mature, I feel like I have less to latch on to. The sheer length of this project complicates that even further. The album is well written and produced, but it leaves me, in my opinion, wanting more.
