This project hits so much harder than I remembered. It's sits at in interesting point in Kendrick's discography, being released as a compilation of songs that were made during the creation of what would one of the best musical works of all time, To Pimp A Butterfly, and you can really tell.

Im not a crier but this got me pretty damn close. I don't really know what I was expecting going into this, but it's very bewildering with how noisy and loud it is, but all the instruments come together to make something quite beautiful. And the lyrics are nothing short of devastating
