Every song on this album is good, although the second half is much weaker than the first. I also don't think the jarring transitions and pauses were executed near as well as they were in forever.

I've always thought this was a bad song but I heard the instrumental of it and I have EVEN LESS respect for it now.

Really enjoyed this ep but honestly I think it could have had some more cleans because the singing parts were my favorites on the album.
This album feels like it's going for the same thing their newest album was, but it doesn't quite hit the mark the same. I enjoyed my time listening to this and there are some great tracks here, but I'm not going to relisten to the album often.
Some of Demon Hunter's best songs are on this album but there are also some tracks that miss.
Highlights: The World is a Thorn, Collapsing, Feel as Though You Could

I can't see another album topping this for my album of the year(Unless that project Adam D and Howard Jones are cooking up releases.) Songs on this album ranged from good to absolutely incredible. Doesnt sound exactly like KsE but still some great metalcore
This is another metalcore album where the riffs can be great, but the clean vocals just don't hit most of the time. The album was still definitely enjoyable overall though, it reminds me quite a bit of Counterparts at times(although I definitely like Counterparts a lot more.) This album had some really cool parts to it but it went on for way too long and the clean vocals didn't hit consistently for me. For an album to be nearly an hour long it needs to be like my favorite music ever and while this was certainly good, it wasn't good enough for the entire 58 minutes to hit.
Highlights: Kismet, Dungeon Dweller
Low Points: The Downtown Dinosaur Gang Pt. 3, Cashmere
A mixed bag of some really good stuff and some bad stuff. I ultimately enjoyed Destroy the Line enough to give the ep a positive rating bc that track in particular doesn't seem to fall to the same weaknesses the others do. I could see this group making some really good stuff in the future.

"You can just explain why you don't like it without trying to undermine everyone who does. Just because it isn't as good as Jane Doe doesn't make everyone who loves the album a fake metal fan who gets their taste from Fantano. Personally I think this a great blend of their rawer mathier stuff and more atmospheric sludge metal tracks. I Won't Let You Go is one of my favorite Converge tracks because imo it has one of their most memorable riffs and I enjoyed the sludgey progression of other tracks such as Detonator. You don't have to like the album but the way you are talking in this review is just as pretentious as the hipsters you claim to hate."

Death Is Little More felt like an evolution on August Burns Red and Misery Signals while this feels more like what the rest of the metalcore scene is doing.
