Easily the best EP of 2023 imo. Every single song is memorable and the performances are super tight. New music from Texas in July was the last thing I expected from this year but I'm so glad it happened.
Pretty good. Mosely may be ABR' most underrated song tbh it's peak.
These songs are very smooth and pleasant to listen to. When I listened to this album I did not expect it to be peak.

The brass parts are incredible in this. Sometimes the vocals get a bit to repetitive for my taste but this is a super solid jazz album.
Highlights: burning grey, bolinko bass
Low Points: the mountain
What a great song to start off on for this band. I had heard of them before and was interested in them but didn't check them out until I saw that a new single released. This was absolutely incredible and now I can't wait to check out the rest of their discography. (If any fans are reading this feel free to reccommend which album to start with)
just decent modern metalcore that doesn't really do anything new. I enjoyed it but nothing really wowed me. The track with JT Cavey was nice though.

"You can just explain why you don't like it without trying to undermine everyone who does. Just because it isn't as good as Jane Doe doesn't make everyone who loves the album a fake metal fan who gets their taste from Fantano. Personally I think this a great blend of their rawer mathier stuff and more atmospheric sludge metal tracks. I Won't Let You Go is one of my favorite Converge tracks because imo it has one of their most memorable riffs and I enjoyed the sludgey progression of other tracks such as Detonator. You don't have to like the album but the way you are talking in this review is just as pretentious as the hipsters you claim to hate."

"Glad you enjoyed this. People can say what they want about it being "another abr album" but if I go to a steakhouse I want a quality steak not something else to eat you get me. ABR have a distinct sound and I'm happy to hear more from them whenever they put something out, this may be a top 3 record from them."

"@HomeSession3 I think there is a solid chance you enjoy it since you gave Phantom Anthem an 80. The melodic riffs are very reminiscint of that era of the band but executed a little better imo. It's definitely better than Guardians or Death Below at the very least, but to be fair I'm very biased towards this band in particular lmao."

"I liked the song but yeah I miss the melodic riffs. Death Is Little More felt like an evolution on August Burns Red and Misery Signals while this feels more like what the rest of the metalcore scene is doing. I think they write good angry shit though so I'm ok with it. Plus I'll take it over the recent Dying Wish any day tbh."
