I was looking forward to this one after I heard so many good things about it, and I wasn't disappointed.
God damn Frank's vocals are amazing, production is so CRISP, songwriting is great.
I guess the weakest point of the album for me, is that some songs , even though they are good, can get a bit boring.
Oh and that André 3000 feature is LIT.
Is this album overrated? Well maybe a bit, but it's still a very good R&B record.

Some of the greatest lyrics I've ever heard (and seen), accompanied by simple yet great guitar melodies.
The very melancholic and dark sound fits the theme perfectly.

Overall a pretty fun listen.
Most of the songs were just okay, exciting horror punk tracks which didn't amaze me, but I wouldn't dare to call them bad either.
There are a few standout tracks that I liked very much, and all in all, I think this is a pretty good introduction to Misfits.

Least Favorite Track: Come Back (5 minutes is just too much for me)

I guess I'm a bit late to the party here.
This is my first The Weeknd album, and I really like what I heard. Some of the best production this year (especially a couple of those Metro Boomin beats) accompanied by songwriting I really like.
The album feels constantly good with a few standout tracks. The synthpop, new wave influences are something I didn't expect I would like yet that's what really hooked me.
Overall an album I'll return to and would recommend.
