This album was edging me with it's potential but left me unsatisfied.
Boy Anonymous is a group experimental hip hop EP, much alike Brockhampton's work in that their sound is super unique, which separates them from the crowd of experimental hip hop artists. It's hard to put into words, but I feel Paris Texas isn't alike Brockhampton in that they aren't confident in their sound, if that makes sense. With time I feel they'll harness what they have to create a truly unique, interesting product. As ... read more
If Selected Ambient Works 85-92 was Aphex Twin pioneering his electronic sound, his latest record Syro is Aphex Twin playing around with what he built back in the 90's.
Nothing in terms of innovation, Aphex Twin would admit that himself, but despite that, Syro remains fun and interesting to me.
In conclusion; aisatsana made me snooze in the best way/10
Kelis' Tasty is, in my opinion, very hit or miss.
Songs range from being driven by truly exceptional synths, filled with Kelis' gorgeous vocals, and endlessly addictive, to the kinds of beats I'd expect from a 14 year old who just discovered how to use loops in GarageBand. Demahjiae's debut album is strange in my eyes.

Mirror Might Steal Your Charm feels like a collection of joke songs but honestly they hold up and have super interesting elements. The Garden themselves have a super unique sound and I feel they really double down on it on this album, which I love, though I think some people don't take it seriously and feel like music has to be super serious and deep to be good or interesting (looking at you, fantano).
In conclusion; too much fun to snooze/10
