The new songs are great, and are honestly some of the best on all of CMIYGL.
FAVORITE TRACK: SORRY NOT SORRY (why was this not included on the original album)
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: HEAVEN TO ME
Decided to listen to this, and man, the album version is so much better in every single way. This version just sounds bland and hasn't aged very well I feel like. Not bad though, just not very great compared to the album version.
Literally didn't care for this song at all, gave it 3 more listens, now I think it's absolutely great. Very amazing song.
Musically and lyrically this album is pretty great, but... man... that mixing... Sometimes the bad mixing kinda works with the songs, but certain songs get kinda ruined for me because of the mixing. Not bad though, just incredibly overrated in my opinion.
FAVORITE TRACK: SCARING THE HOES
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Run The Jewels
I don't have a whole lot to say. This track is excellent, vocals are great, and the soundscape is brilliant. Even though I'm not very familiar with Swans' work, this song is the best thing I've heard from them. Possibly song of the year for me right now.
Decent 9/10
Quite forgettable and boring honestly. This album didn't really work for me.
FAVORITE TRACK: Purified by the Fire
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Echolalia
I hate this so much. Really bad album, no substance to it whatsoever, lyrics suck, instrumentals are mediocre, vocal performances are terrible. Not even bad in a funny way, it just sucks.
FAVORITE TRACK: She Know
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Pump Rock x Heavy Metal
How many gecs can there be on one album?? We're reaching maximum amount of gecs here!
FAVORITE TRACK: Dumbest Girl Alive
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Frog On The Floor
After listening through Cracker Island, I decided to come back and listen to Plastic Beach, which was in my opinion, Gorillaz's peak. Though I've never actually listened through the entire thing.
However, I have heard all the singles from this album as well as a couple of other songs from it. But today, I decided to listen to this entire album for the first time. And I must say, this album is unbelievably great. Every single song is incredible and this album has aged like wine. I really ... read more
When I listened to Girl with Basket of Fruit, I wasn't very sure how to review it properly... I am once again wondering how to properly review this album. It's good, but very unlike literally anything else I've heard, so I'm not sure how to rate it. Compared to GWBOF, this is significantly more consistent in quality, but the high points on GWBOF are immensely better than the highs on this album. This is quite good though, and I recommend it.

Aside from the horrible cover art, this is a pretty fun album, but definitely nowhere near Gorillaz's peak.
FAVORITE TRACK: Cracker Island
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Silent Running
A very short but sweet album. It definitely needed more polishing on certain tracks, such as Dissolve (and especially NIGHT RIDER). But it's still a very nice and simple album.
FAVORITE TRACK: Glimpse of Us
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: NIGHT RIDER
This is pretty bad, but also the best thing I've ever heard them make. The instrumental is alright, however, the vocals and lyrics are just absolutely atrocious.
While I wasn't huge on this album at first, it's grown on me a whole lot. The lyrics are great, the instrumentals have a ton of character, and the production is excellent. Though I do feel as if some of the songs drag on too long (notably Reborn).
FAVORITE TRACK: Cudi Montage
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Reborn
I need to cleanse my ears after listening to this, and I also feel like the police are gonna be knocking on my door any second now. I never want to hear this again.
FAVORITE TRACK: Life of a Hentai Dude
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Tokyo Chopp
Pretty unexpected direction for Yachty to go in, but it's pretty good and I'd like to see where his music will go from here.
FAVORITE TRACK: the BLACK seminole.
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: paint THE sky
I don't really have a whole lot to say about this album. It's pretty hard to rate, but all I know is that I really enjoyed it. Great instrumentation and beautiful vocals, with some very wonderful lyrics.
FAVORITE TRACK: I Who Bend the Tall Grasses
