I mean, at least it’s not Rebrith. But this is definitely Wayne’s worst full length LP. I thought we were in for something after Welcome To Tha Carter played. Nope. π
There is nothing interesting about this album. Every song is like 2 and a half minutes long, with the most boring flows, lazy lyrics, and the same exact production as every other track off this thing.
While the deluxe is better and adds a lot of the best tracks on this album, Ken Carson really proves he is nothing special. Boring, repetitive flows over the same production for an hour.
This is peak rage music. This is what Ken Carson and Nettspend should be. Top 3 rage project ever.
Just trust me on this one. If you’ve never heard of this mixtape you probably think I’m insane. But I’m not. This thing has some of the best cloud rap songs I’ve ever heard. If you’ve never haven’t heard of this before, please give it a listen.
The second best rap album in my opinion. Crazy wordplay over dark, gruesome production with features from the rest of the Wu Tang Clan. Better than 36 Chambers and Illmatic imo.
Travis’s second best album is an experience. Astroworld transports you to another realm. Seriously, this album is hypnotizing, kind of. There are a couple of misses and it’s not the best songwriting by Travis, but it’s still a great album.
This is the greatest rap album of all time. You have peak MF DOOM spitting the craziest, most complicated bars you’ve ever heard over peak production by Madlib. Apparently, a singular track on this album has more samples than the entirety of DAMN. By Kendrick Lamar. Normally, I like albums that are on the longer side, and the average length of a song from this album is like 2 minutes, but it’s such a perfect album that I don’t even mind.
This an amazing indie album that in a few years will be called a classic. This was one of my first indie/electronica albums I’ve heard, and it was a surreal experience hearing something like this for the first time. Can’t wait for the new album dropping Friday
Bittersweet poetry is a top 20 Kanye song. Idc what everyone else says. Anyways, I listened to graduation for the first time in the last day of school last year (I didn’t graduate but I figured it’s close enough) and loved it. There’s so many amazing songs off of this LP. We got I Wonder, Homecoming, Flashing Lights, and Stronger just to name a few. Amazing album.
Definitely Don’s best album, and it contains a lot of Don’s best songs. For someone as 1 dimensional as Don Toliver, I feel like this is him showing his full potential.
I think all the stars are closer because the king’s dead.
It’s a good project. It shows an early form of Sub who can honestly make good music, which is what he does on this EP. This EP is also super nostalgic to me so idk if that has to do something with this rating. Thanks @Garrrfield for the rec I lowkey forgot about this lol.
They still got it. I was kind of anxious for this album because it has been 5 years since their last project, which was one of their weaker releases, but this did not disappoint. Milk of the Madonna and I think about you all the time are definitely my favorites.
I like Deftones’s calmer, more psychedelic tracks more, and this album has way more aggressive cuts, but it’s a lot of the bands best work, and I still really like it.
Probably the best Deftones album. It has the perfect blend of aggressive tracks and psychedelic tracks. Digital Bath and Change are both top 10 Deftones tracks to me.
This was my intro to Deftones. I never liked metal or nu metal music in the past, but something clicked with this album. I don’t know what if was, but I love this album and still replay the majority of the songs from it to this day.
