Out of all the albums ive listened to this is without a doubt the most mind boggling to wrap my head around in terms of just flat out producing it.
Its harrowing, hopeful and relaxing without even using any words.
98>99 Might revisit, but Sleep is the greatest song ever made
I refuse to review this.
However if you haven’t listened to a-town girl please do it is life changing
Keep planting these types of plants!!!
But fr this shit is so consistent and in a world of so many indie rock bands, last dinner party plays by the rules leaving close to no negatives and highs that sound even angelic
Favourite tracks: Caesar on a TV screen, Gjuha (this is what all interludes should do)
Least favourite: feminine urge (this is a little too much to just a straight up paramore song)
This is still considered a positive review but it is still probably going to be my most controversial take judging from the average score this has. This album’s singles quite honestly are just so damn weak. Quadeca is someone I first heard of from his last album which found huge success and I myself was a fan of. That album saw him showing so much emotion that felt real and personable.
On scrapyard I just feel that these emotions aren’t his, they certainly someones but the feeling ... read more
Slick like butter production makes the conscious lyrics hit harder. Joey loses a little volatility seen on 1999 but it certainly doesnt lack quality
This album consistently goes from generational songs to boring multiple times.
This is kanye making another donda but he mentions jews every other song and ty sings off 10 melatonin. He can make beats still thankfully and some verses are interesting but thats about all
It’s honestly crazy how dividing this album is and its even more crazy that i line right in between those extremes.
I personally prefer the ‘whatever people say I am…’ album especially since everything you could get from this record is found twice as good on the other.
This album does have its jams however and it’s certainly not AM which are both wins in my book. I feel that most of my destain just comes from the preachers saying this is special when it just ... read more
Ya know, sometimes Spotify auto play is pretty chill
This album seeps charisma and even though it isn’t necessarily a unique or impressive LP it manages to keep the listener engaged which is impressive for almost 43 minutes of almost all instrumentals
Favourite tracks: tasmanian glow, dream girl

My browser refreshed 4 damn times i give up writing this:
Production great
Vocals laughable
Lyrics borderline ai generated
I just dont get the hype, sorry
Unfathomable production with honestly annoying vocals to me at least.
I wish there was more personal storytelling but as it stands this album wears its influences on its sleeves, thankfully its really good ass influences.
Why are people asking in if im depressed. Let me listen to the gay dog album in peace
This is without a doubt my hardest listen to get but after finally understanding the narrative and the flow of this album oh my good lord. This album rarely if ever lets you truly rest on your feelings until the end when it hits at once. Super highly recommend reading a synopsis from someone else or trying to understand yourself because it elevates the experience 10 fold
The amount of big names on this record is the equivalent to buying a $440 crowbar because it has supreme on it
Every time i return to this record i always expect there to be a skip but every time i dont find one.
The worst thing about this record honestly is that they didnt go all out with the jazz rock ascetic. classic j is a phenomenal opener and an album from this band that is straight chaotic jazz would be probably my most biased album rating ever.
As it stands though the album is obviously unpolished at points but i feel it furthers the experience. This album shines with its highlights and ... read more
Someone just commented ‘white death grips’ and now my in depth review has melted to nothingness
