After listening to Aperture I thought "Okay yeah, I could get down to this" then my eyes proceeded to glaze over for the next 37 minutes until it was over
What a rollercoaster. This EP singlehandedly has one of my favorite Thy Art songs with "They Will Know Another" and one of my least favorite Fit For An Autopsy songs with "The Perfect Drug". "Flatlining" is another massive high point on the record but the rest falls flat for me with some pretty underwhelming covers and a forgettable Acacia Strain track.
That goofy airhorn that leads into the breakdown on Laurentian Ghosts still haunts me to this day
