[EDIT: 100->80 Album actually grew quite off of me. I no longer consider this my favorite rap album now. It's still good, I just don't think of it as a 100 anymore.]
Original Review:
My favourite rap album of all time. Literally every song bangs hard and message behind these songs are great. My favourites are actually most of the album but if I have to pick the absolute cream of the crop I'll say yankee and the brave, JU$T, walking in the snow.
This is truly one of the "I miss the old Kanye" moments.
WAIT JPEGMAFIA PRODUCED THIS WHAT THE FUCK?!!
I discovered this EP through the XO GD map (Like many others) and I have been loving this. This EP has such an interesting distorted sound which may be hard to get into for some people. I, for one, was extremely confused with the extreme distortion on the XO drop. But once I got used to the artistic choice of this album it became one of my most streamed songs on Spotify. I also really really like sex and drugs. (The songs but it is also funny if you read it literally.)
OOoOoOOoo, We Pop Champagne.
tbh its shitty but laughably shitty. On the other hand, I found the people other than Ron Browz to be much less interesting. Ron Browz basically stole the show here, not in a good way ofcourse.
fuck off. one of the worst songs i have ever heard. this takes a great song buries it 10 feet deep and then pisses all over the grave.
[30->60 It grew on me a bit]
Nah this ain't it man. I really like the original song but i don't think lil wayne really works in this song. I would even say that he ruins this entire song even though the song is the same as the original after his verse.
Also, curse you Weezer now the only thing I can think of when listening to lil wayne is fuckin "Okay bitches, Weezer and it's Weezy"
OG song: 90
Lil Wayne's verse: 60
Goddamn Peggy and Danny. Both killed it with this album. The instrumentals rock. The samples are fire and so unusual and good like. Damn. (not the Kendrick album, just my reaction).
My only little problem was just that I'm not the biggest fan of Danny's voice, I prefer Peggy more. Both are good tho don't get me wrong.
The hindi sample in Do Not Fire! surprised me it was just so unexpected I had to play that part a few times to confirm that I wasn't dreaming. Didn't expect to hear hindi while listening to this album. Anyways, good album .
"What the fuck?" - my reaction for most of the album.
Anyways, I was able to tolerate this demondice album (and it's my first one) and no it wasn't really that good of an experience. First problem that I have is the volume. Some songs are loud but suddenly in the next song. BAM!! It is really quiet. Really annoying when you are trying to "enjoy" the album as a whole experience. I sometimes felt like an ad started playing when another song started but nah it was just the ... read more
[EDIT: 82->92 Fuck it! I severely underrated this album. This deserves to be my AOTY]
Well fishmonger is in my to listen list but I still listened to this first because it was newer and I had nothing better to do while making a maths practical notebook for school. Also, I had really liked the single Locals (Girls like us) when it was randomly recommended to me by Spotify. (First CUTIEMARKS then this? Spotify was on a role. Too bad they turned into shit with the latest update and I became ... read more
[EDIT: 82 -> 100 What in the right mid was I thinking when I gave this just an 82. I still agree that Cutiemarks has higher highs but this album is more consistently enjoyable. So much so that I've actually listened to this album about 3 times and I still don't get bored of it. So, yeah sorry Cutiemarks but I prefer fish whisperers more now.]
[EDIT: 100 -> 75 I still like the songs that I mentioned from this album and I still stand by my original review. It's just that as a whole this ... read more
EDIT: 87->71: What the hell was I thinking giving this such a high score? It still has some pretty good songs like Montero, Industry Baby etc. but I was blinded by those songs (along with the fact that I was pretty new to this website and music reviewing in general) to realize that most of the other songs on this album are frankly not worth revisiting. So as a whole, I dont think this deserves an 87 at all.

I'm not even going to listen to this since it will probably ruin my Spotify recommendations. It's bad, it's racist, it's homophobic. Yawn.. Nothing new
[EDIT: 95->70 Although this album still holds some nostalgic value for me due to being the first complete album I've listened to. My main problem with it now is that it is WAYY TOO LONG like I said in the original review and it is not compelling enough for me to ever revisit it. Also, I don't really like Camellia's music as much as I used to and I don't think there was a justifiable reason for me to rate this as high as I did other than the fact that I was obsessed with ... read more
Oh my god!! Ken's voice on this track is SO GODDAMN GOOD. I would consider this one of, if not his best vocal performance.
Eh, It was okay in my honest opinion. The production on some songs was a bit weird but honestly, this album was just okay for me.
I know people have probably heard this line multiple times, but, I mean it's true. Tyler blooms in Flower Boy (actually I think WOLF was the first time he matured a bit but, WOLF does have some odd songs which is why I wouldn't call it the album where Tyler fully blooms).
The album mainly focuses on 2 metaphors - Cars and Gardens (and by extension bees), showing 2 different sides of the world. One being materialism and the other being nature. And uses these metaphors to talk about various ... read more
The group is back and this time they try a variety of genres other than just Hyperpop. And it goes amazingly. I mean I would have still eaten it up if they came with an album similar to their previous one but innovation is what keeps you away from being forgotten. It is also nice that they didn't have any wierd tracks (such as gecgecgec for 1000 gecs), instead we get banger after bangers.

Thank you Spotify for recommending this to me. This entire album just makes me happy with its sound. And also make me headbang and also think about the lyrics. This album just paints a beautiful picture in my head. It feels different. Every song feels different but they still feel like they belong here which is a wonderful skill usually only done by wonderful artists. While listening to the first few tracks, my mind immediately went to one of my current favourite album of all time, ... read more
