It's just....
It was one song.
And I was invested for 44 minutes.
In ONE song.
Exited about every chord change and every new instrument coming in. Amazing.
And that guy could just sing out a sports car engine specification and I will still listen to it over and over again.
It's good music seriously. But lacks that special sound. It isn't unique enough for me.
A glimpse of music from early 2000s with some modern production.
Me likes
Personally I think this is her best song so far.
Once again shutting mouths of those who say that she can't sing that she just murmurs and whispers through.
I hope that in the future she will get even more adventurous and even go full on 50s jazz club.
Okay this is the best post-punk album so far this year.
Punchy guitars clear vocals and very very nice percussion.
It's hard to make a post-punk album that stands out but Fontaines somehow manage it and you are trapped in their claws from the first track to the last one.
Is she simply reassuring herself that this is her cup of tea?
That she shines doing indie rather than mass-producing pop songs?
If so then i hope that she'll keep going with it and we'll be getting even more "experimental" albums.
Those vocals man....
But I see why this is so polarising.
It isn't a bad album. But I was constantly reminding myself that I'm not listening to a medicore Twenty One Pilots coverband...
Don't know what kind of "Blue" it is but certainly it's not the "Brightest"
It's definitely worth a listen if you like brave approach to electronic music.
Nice blend of straightforward ballads and jazz inspired acid trips
Wow that's just ....
I finally found something more inconsistent than my sleep pattern.
It feels like I heard it so many times before.
But then sounds fresh enough to amaze me.
