But for real, Aesop Rock has done it again, folks! This album is absulotely full of wonderfully bizzare anecdotes, fun retrospective punchlines, all tied together with the broad theme of evolving technologies. "He Dead (Stay Alove At All Costs)" is really good, the rest are inferior to the original songs and are all instant skips imo.
I'd rather listen to this than government plates, for what it's worth.
This isn't my typical cup of tea, but MAN am I glad that I checked this out. Really phenomenal overall, feels like being wrapped in a blanket around a campfire on a breezy autumn night.

Fucking phenomenal.
Rapping is smooth as butter, El-P's production is very experimental, especially for the time. Never heard of either part of this duo (Vordul Mega, Vast Aire) before but I definitely want to check out more of their stuff in the future.
The first four songs are near flawless, and so are the last three. Everything else is anywhere from great to excellent. This could grow to be one of my favorite albums ever.
