I have too many problems with this album.
Like I usually don't call any album by CHS undercooked but this one is. Even some old album that I don't like as much as my favorites I wouldn't call them undercooked, but this LP it's that not because it's new but because sounds underproduced and overproduced at the same time and sometimes comes out as forgettable and underwhelming for the most part. And I say for the most part because there are some highlight like Can't Cool Me Down, Martin, and both ... read more
I'm happy that I discovered something like the sound of this but sad that I thought back in 2020 when I made electro-industrial tracks like from this LP was something nobody was doing at the time. Still what a rager of an album.
What a masterpiece on baroque pop.
Even though I think there are other perfect baroque pop LPs that I prefer, this album still shines with the lush production and memorable pop songs at its core. I don't take this album as "super experimental deep shit" but idk has a magical thing that I can't describe, everything from each song adds to that sunshine feeling and maybe it finishes with a sad and heartbreaking moment in contrary to the opener and iconic song Wouldn't It Be Nice that ... read more
I've finished this lp and I will stand with the same score I gave it
im sorry
im so so sorry
im so so so so sorry
this is my number 1 album of the year (so far, September 6)
this is perfect or almost perfection and by far the most weird and terrifying album of 2023. I don't think this is a 10/10 but maybe yes if I don't get too specific, the only thing I didn't like was maybe the theatrical aspects of some songs but they're executed so friggin good throughout this album and made it a cohesive almost 100-minute album with LOOONG songs, 10, 12, and 24 minute ... read more
INTRODUCING
THE 🍫 ⭐ 🐟
AND THE 🌭 FLAVOURED 💦
(I hear the entire thing and has some funny tracks but everything else is unlistenable and aged like milk)
🍓🔥
Loving this little album, just good vibes with songs with strong melodies inspired from the 60's. I think this is maybe one of the most accesible LPs from the Elephant 6 Collective.

THIS ALBUM MAKES ME GO GOBLIN MODE
Ok but fr this is for me one of the best metal albums ever, like I don't know if any other metal or rock album makes me want to break stuff like this one. The feeling of burning alive is what this LP gives me when I listen to it, the deep fried effect on the vocals and the constant chugging and mathematical riffs are so abrasive in a unique way that the more noisy it gets more visceral and tight gets. There are so ... read more
albums like this makes me think memes about cats were a thing since humanity's inception
I LOVE this LP, so much fun with all the goofiness the sounds and beats radiates. It's like playing with a bunch of hyperactive kittens. I mean I don't take this album too serious but it's so we'll done and captures the silliness of cats. Some of these songs are truly impressive, like the opener Chinaski or Nepetalactone or Pouncelciot are some examples.
I think my brain is on fire.
I think back in 2020 I listened to this album and I didn't get it at first but now I feel like a sense or urgency and anxiety when I hear some of this songs sounding so... wild but in a unique way. Like this is one of the first "true" noise rock LPs, and that transcribes to wild performances but sometimes weird details that connects to the concept of the lyrics and I think the message of anti-war put into this project. This ain't weird as the self titled ... read more
NICE GOING ASSHOLE
This is one of the most energetic and euphoric experiences I had with ska punk. After all these years and the recent ska revival this album still a gem even though it's small and short as a hardcore punk album and the mixing sometimes sounding like shit, but those things encapsulates the anger of the performances and the vocals from Jeff Rosenstock and the overall attitude of this short LP. Maybe my least favorite song from here it's Stand There Until You're Sober but only ... read more
huge edit: I don't feel right shitting on this song after the death of the singer today September 4, 2023. Rest In Peace Steve Harwell 😢
Well
I'm being honest with this but I liked it more than Astroworld, and maybe could grow my score in the future because some of this tracks sounds futuristic like in yeezus but with more polished and better beats. Meanwhile some of this tracks feels like unpolished and maybe dated if we consider this album futuristic and risky, which it is but still there are tracks that feels a bit too long or are simply mid (or one that it's worse than any other) that are what lowering the score.

who liked this (I don't really care about that but funny that just one soul out of 189 liked this)

in a somewhat short review, this is by far the most I laught at an album. It's a failure of party music and you wouldn't even have to say sorry for party rocking because you won't be able to start a party with this. Idk but the almost Angelic 2 The Core quality of wack it's like a shit stuck in a toilet and some of these tracks will live rent free in my head like Supersonic or the Death Grips "Hacker" like track that it's the closer Numb and I make that comparison ... read more

this album bloooooows
In it's defense I would say that it's so tryhard that sometimes could sound decent and listenable but when this album goes downhill really it's like eating gravel with a spoon. Where do I begin? Well, I had to saw it coming the hell that was upon me with the intro track and titletrack that does this Frankenstein type approach to metal and other subgenres from that, but really the clash does not work mostly in my opinion, sounds like someone trying hard to sound ... read more

Maybe there are slightly better albums from DDS or more iconic ones (ITLLT) but this like taking that post vaporwave they're known and making something that feels like a utopia while also being sometimes apocalyptic or like some glitch in the matrix type thing. Maybe there are songs here that don't goes as hard as other or aren't as dense and really brain melting multi sensorial soundscapes, like You Don't Dare that it's more a straight forward safe and ... read more
