lupes flow is so crazy dude holyyy especially verse 2, dont love love the chorus but its serviceable
Banger, also i havent listened to that much denzel but I feel like he doesnt usually do beats like this?
its not anything innovative, and I dont think its a top tier jid verse, but like the user score being this low is crazy (62 atm)
Bias hooks sounds like rihanna, real impressive, strong verse and jid does what he needs
Really well curated, I cant say I love Charlis vocals, but I think they might grow on me.
White Mercedes, was prolly my favorite song, that chorus is really impressive, and the scape of that songs as a whole is realy impressive. Her lyrics are also super strong here.
Project has an array of cool sounds and i love the vibe.
Ima leave it here because I think ima come back to this, I just wanted to get my first thoughts on charlie before i hear brat tonight.
Hive and Chum have silently been 2 of my favorite rap songs over the past few months, but i hadn't actually listened to the album so here we are.
Dorus is pretty similar in feeling to some other oddfuture projects, but thats not bad.
Earl is a good rapper, but he is a bit monotone, but the crazy variety of beats and samples he tackles makes it still work.
For example on Chum, the keys and instrumental help drive the emotion earl doesnt express and still makes it sound really powerful.

This aint half bad???
Pretty cool and interesting instrumebtal.
Xan isnt crazy presence wise, but hes stays on flows and he creates a lull. Lyrics arent great but the emo rap lyrics bar is in hell so its fine.
I actually enjoyed this a good amount, Xan in 2024?
this is what i come to uzi for, love the flavor of the beat and uzis pretty focused lyricially, like the hook a lot.
Rewriting old reviews 2:
Hobo Johnsons music style walks the oddest f*cking tightrope ive ever seen, and hes only managed to land on this album, and its a really unique album. One of the only albums i could say gets away with being on the line of "incel rap".
Hobo has a very awkward spoken word / light rap flow of song makes him across very honest. He has genuine wit which holds it together. Lyricially Hobo kinda takes the "im an ahole" ideas some other rapper have dome in a ... read more
It sounds good and I like it lyricially, but I really need something different. for an album. It good for a single. mixing could be better
edit: eh it doesnt really work
og:kinda sounds like a worse, more choppy without me, Way more natural than most of eminems modern hooks. But honestly i thought its pretty fun, and felt way more self aware then when he did these subject matters o the last 2 albums, some bad lines but eh it's eminem you kinda just have to have fun and its also ig "slims return" thematicially
Polo G's has his pen stuck in between 2 subject matters, and while hes pretty good at those (bloodys Canvas is a great example) I feel like he could do so much more, so much wasted talent in him. Hes a really interesting mc with an actually amazing voice, but he forces himself into a corner
But obviously thats not the biggest problem with his music, its the production, I really want to see polo link up with another like rapper/producer just so he can bounce ideas off them, hes gotten really ... read more
Yo so idk the full situation like that but yeah fuck alexis.
I dont have much of a history with noise rock, so i cant really cant compare this too much but I figured this is probably one worth checking out so here we are.
andddd heres my butchered interpretation and thoughts:
lots of abrasive instruments mixed with strong and large instrumentals. The vocals mixing is a bit odd, but I think its cool and its kinda emulates him like being drowned or being dragged down. In the first few song he ... read more
How TF did goat( weezy ) manage to make an imagine dragons hit listenable
love the way he connects the end of the verse to the chorus
This album is the definition of the beauty in the imperfections, and runaway chief among them really really defines everything that makes kanye great, but ill get to those ideas at the end.
This albums really cool, kanyes basically lost faith with the hiphop community at the time with the mainly pop-rap graduation, and the non-rap album 808s, everyone's basically thought he ditched him. So kanyes sitting here under all this pressure on how to return to hiphop, and he made damn diamonds under ... read more
This is essentially what happens when an artist just lets every intrusive thought they have into their music, and its kinda awesome
____
This album starts ELECTRICLY(woah)
Flooded the face has so much energy and passion, really feels like a uzi song straight out of his peak.
Right after that uzi tries their attempt at rage with S* Doors, and yknow they kinda kill it??? The beats really hard, uzis adlibs are placed really well, they got a lot of presence on the track, and they never really stop ... read more
45-->57 The hooks on a few songs grew on me, and i think i just got more used to their sound, i kinda was hating
Og:
Bro i never write this much wtf heres a tldr:
A lot of cool ideas, but something usually misses in the track and makes its fall apart, really bad sequencing and the tone of this album is so inconsistent its really distracting. Its got some great moments in the cracks tho

This albums a really good example of how sequencing and tonal whiplash can really hurt an ... read more
Very mature lyricially, I loved the way he told stories like on "justin" or "radio". Very good production, doesnt really try too much, but it does everything right and really sets up vince to speak. I really enjoyed the way vince tackled a track lyricially, sounding a little pessimistic but ready to kill it, flexing but also with a lot of important things to talk about.
Really solid short little cohesive album.
Ive never just had this much fun with a vince project
