More well-executed than his previous releases and undeniably catchy, Hollywood's Bleeding is a huge step forward for the guarded superstar, one that doesn't sacrifice the essential elements that made him such a surprise hitmaker, and pushes him even further into the pop-savvy landscape where he belongs.
The rapper’s third album further demonstrates his gift for turning dreamy darkness into Top 40 gold.
Post Malone still provides us with a sprinkling of the classics: bitches, butts and Millie on wrists, it’s appeasing. But for the most part, he created an insightful and eclectic record which is a testament to his versatility and willingness to do exactly what he wants.
The divisive pop star still gets bogged down in melancholy, but the charm of Post Malone’s third album is in his versatile voice and his ability to make a great hook inside pretty much any song.
Overall, Hollywood’s Bleeding is a step up from his lackluster sophomore record. That being said, its cohesion ultimately gets overshadowed by the random array of guests.
Hollywood’s Bleeding is immediately Post Malone’s most listenable work and may well be the catchiest album you hear in 2019, and that includes Taylor Swift.
What did y'all seriously expect? Why do y'all expect artistic integrity from a Post Malone album. I'm here for pop tunes, and I get pop tunes. BTW that Travis, Posty and Ozzy track was way better than it needed to be.

A Blue Diamond commercial jingle has more flavor than this record.
I have little to nothing to say about this record. I came in with my expectations low, and you know what. It has a handful of tracks that do pass my expectations and were quite a joy. I feel like this is a record you go through once, select the tracks you like to your playlist, then be ... read more
Some insanely high highs, and some pretty disappointing lows. This is definitely Post’s most pop focused album. It doesn’t feel as “special” as some of his other work, but it mostly makes up for it with some insanely good songs sprinkled throughout.
