Man this is just boring and I don't feel united >:(
This compared to Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix just shows how much they progressed as a band. This album is just kind of forgettable. A lot of these tracks are just boring and kinda cheesy. I get that it was the start of the 2000s, but man I don't know these tracks just don't hit anywhere as hard. The production is alright, the singing could be better, and the songwriting is mid. "United" isn't particularly an ideal start to a band. While it has a lot of groovy, funky production and some good instrumentation, the mix leaves a lot to be desired and the country tinge during the second half is out-of-place and obnoxious.
