I’m tired of convincing myself that I don’t like this album. It’s amazing. Fuck all of you Fantano meat riders.
This album scratched my brain the first time I heard it. love it
Controversial opinion but I fucking love this vocal style
Honestly get rid of speedway and years ago and you have a perfect, kids see ghosts length album
It's pretty good, very creative, but some of the ideas depicted are a little dumb. Such as in Communion, where Gable Price has a skewed idea that he personally is the bride to the Lord, which is a very silly idea as we collectively as a church are the bride to the Lord. It's as though he's figuratively killing this relationship between the church and God. One lyric that shows Gable Price's confusion is "I'm tired of tithing my heart" which could be worded better, because I do believe ... read more
WOAH. On first listen I was shocked. This thing is so interesting. After revisiting it a couple of times I really grasped what Dismemberment Plan was trying to do with this record. What an askew album. Love it.
This score is definitely yet to change, I can't find anything wrong with it even though I've only listened to it about 4 times
this album makes me wanna turn into that one mr krabs image where his eyes are faucets
ion get it. it's fun, it's catchy at points, but it feels drawn out
EDIT: It's slowly growing on me. Gives off a certain vibe that I can't describe
love it just as much as AFUT, if not more. this GREEEEW on me
every song is good
im so excited for what's to come with these fellas
Still unsure about the latter half, but as an experience it's wonderful
EDIT: (80--->100) this is the best post-punk album I've ever heard
one of my new favorites, love the math rock riffs, love the post rock feel. absolutely awestruck by the powerful and interesting lyrics and vocal performances. Also love how dramatic Brian can make a rollercoaster sound
didn't know you could butcher a song this badly but i was unpleasantly surprised
Maybe I'm just biased because this is my guitar teacher's band, but it's some solid midwest emo/garage rock. Enjoyable listen. I would like the album more if the vocals were mixed a little better. And sometimes the lyrics can be a little redundant, but what do you really expect from a small indie garage rock bank from Boise.
