What a refreshing listen. Definitely let this album slip past me. If Lil Yachty's voice is not for you this thing will probably not be the thing to win you over but it is an excellent experiment with psychedelic rock.
I'm gonna be honest... I really don't know how to put words to ambient music. This listen did have me gripped the entire time though and the emotion I was left with was stillness. That being said, there is something subtly unsettling about this sound.
Some great Bedroom pop to say the least, and the second half is uh.... Unique!

I rock with Prefix. They saw what no one else was seeing including younger me. Boy is this project ass. At it's best it's generic and at it's worst it is corny and petty. I know even Big Sean is capable of way better than this.
Thong on my groin then it go boing
What a nice day to listen to some more AmyReal. Alexa could you play imo bladee could've saved the passengers of the ocean gate expedition idk what to tell you
My left ear really did not enjoy the ending of this album.....
No scoreflation here, this project is a consuming adventure. Calling this background music would be extremely offensive. Does it work well in the background? Yeah. But this thing is incredibly fun to sit down and just jam to. First of all, every track on this project is at least 5 minutes long and keep your attention for the entire runtime. That is worth commending alone. Soundwise there is also a lot to appreciate. This album is very sample based and you will find yourself recognizing at least ... read more
Edit 09/11/2024 98 -> 100: I was being a little nitpicky with this one. I even ended up giving Picking Up Hands a 90 which has turned out to be my favorite Quadeca song up to this point so don't exactly know what I was on there. If anything the only place I can point to really critique anything here is the ending of Casinni's Division. To be clear, it is an extremely well fitting ending to this project especially given the references to not fading to black, but cutting to static. ... read more
Used to listen to this album with my friends in the car while driving. Ten years later and I am listening while playing Realistic Hood Simulator on Roblox.
This is genuinely some of the most interesting stuff I have heard in a while. Production goes brazy, lyrics aren't anything incredible, but this is so god damn unique.
Yeah I hated this when it came out like everyone else.... It's pretty good after re-listening though, back end kind of drags on though.
I should probably consider giving Pink Tape another listen sometime.
The sound on this project is no joke some of the most experimental stuff I have heard in rap in a while. Chop City for real. Recline goes unnecessarily hard.
+1 for Nuke
+1 for Legalize Nuclear Bombs
You gotta respect the hustle. Whether paper or plastic Joeyy has money to blow.
Back on the Joeyy grind. Why am I doing this again? This EP leans heavily into cloud rap territory which is what I was expecting of Joeyy's earlier works. Nothing here really stuck with me but it sure is a spectacle especially track one...
