kinda fucked up album right
i’m sure this doesn’t tell us anything about the dude though
(p.s. fuck this guy obviously)
holy shit they made music in languages that AREN’T english?!?!?!?π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨π¨
usually, going into the 70s and beyond starts to see a lowering of the wow factor i get from albums but despite being over half a century old, this album remains fresh and interesting to this day
a very cool listen
has some cool songs but it’s nothing crazy at all and i would like some of the songs to be expanded on and some of the songs just don’t need to be here
oh and he says some kinda wild stuff sometimes for some reason
Elliott’s most lively project, ‘Figure 8’ is still emotionally potent and holds the same quality of melody and songwriting. the man just isn’t human, he cannot make a bad song.

i knew that this album could really be an emotional hitter but damn was it a harder hit than i remembered
‘Hospice’ is a somber, beautiful piece of folky indie rock that really hits you in the guts
songs such as ‘Kettering’, ‘Bear’ and ‘Epilogue’ are fantastic
the slowcore and ambient elements didn’t quite land for me sadly but on the whole it was fairly enjoyable
i had to desperately explain how i’m not a weirdo for listening to an album that’s cover is an erotic anime girl with her tits out
anyways it’s pretty sick, 4 songs of screaming japanese over fire ass jazzy punk and post-hardcore instrumentals followed by a lullaby sounding track and then straight back into the punk
i love this
it sounds like Anna Von Hausswolf mixed with The Cure mixed with Grouper or something
It’s dark, gloomy, slightly folky but ambient and ethereal. beautiful
who let kevin abstract cover once in a lifetime cause holy shit it sucks
the Paramore was great, Blondshell was good, girl in red and Lorde were solid, didn’t really care for any others
i know everyone else is saying it but what this might be one of the craziest albums to exist
A christianity oriented post-rock and shoegaze combo double album with constant themes of judgement plus the cover is possibly one of the most hilarious pieces of music media ever, looking like it’s a 2009 underground trap album from 3 white cowboys. oh and all while being really good?????
Modest Mouse’s indie rock with twinges of emo and incredible melancholic songwriting will never fail to impress me, ‘The Moon & Antarctica’ is no different.
i really don’t know enough about jazz to comment heavily on this album but it was cool, it was groovy, niceπ
