I really like Megan and I thought Fever was a great project. SUGA disappointed me, and while this is better than that project, it still doesn’t reach the enjoyability of Fever.
What makes this feel like a step backwards is that while her personality and technical ability is there and as fun as ever, the production and beat selection is not as good as it could be, especially for an artist as big as Megan. Also the album doesn’t start off great once we get past the intro, as ... read more
Punisher is possibly my favorite album of the year, so hearing we would get orchestral versions had me excited. And while I obviously prefer the original versions, I admire the different take and aesthetic these versions give to the songs, even if they don’t always work and sound a bit awkward.

Another great single from Miley.
Instrumental is great, hook is catchy, and Miley and Dua work well together. Excited for the new album
This truly is a fantastic listen.
I had heard most of the songs on Isolation, and I saw her perform live, but I never sat down and listened to the full thing. I was excited to listen to this though, and the singles had me even more excited. And she has made something great here.
Between her beautiful voice, the stellar songwriting, and the really great production, this album really hits consistently. I really like the direction she took this album, and it’s definitely one of the best ... read more
I’ve never loved when Tierra made slower singing songs as much as her more eccentric music, and while this is probably my least favorite of her 3 recent singles, it’s still really good. The instrumental is beautiful and Tierra’s vocals are really solid. It’s not as unique or quirky as her other music, but I still really like it.
He doesn’t even deserve a review. He’s just doing whatever he can do to stay relevant
This album is not the kind of thing I’d typically listen to, but I liked his work on The Weeknd’s album, his work on Uncut Gems and Good Times, and I liked No Nightmares a lot so I decided to check this out. And it was a little hard to get into, but I appreciate it.
I really did enjoy the production and the sound of the record, but most of what’s on here honestly serves better as background music. Maybe with even more listens I will be more immersed than I was, even if I ... read more
This is truly such an impressive and interesting album. It’s so impressive what she could accomplish with just a guitar.
I had never heard anything by Adrianne Lenker before, but I had heard good things and I love some good indie folk so I decided to check this out, and I’m so glad I did.
songs, as the title may suggest, is not a flashy album. It’s simple, just her, her guitar, and nature, and the result is fantastic. It is such a beautiful yet complicated listen. The lyrics ... read more
I just want to thank everyone for 700 followers.
I was gonna do a super serious and detailed review thanking everybody on a classic album or something, but instead I just want to highlight quite possibly the greatest and most influential song ever written and say a few things.
I want to thank everybody who has liked my reviews or shown support, because I had for years been looking for a place where I could put my opinions on albums out there for people to see, and I've been so glad that I've ... read more
Am I the only one who had never heard of Little Mix before this? Apparently they’re a big thing in the UK or something? Well ok, maybe this will be good.....
I like some good generic pop, but this is literally just a pop formula repeated over and over. It’s not bad, and it’s pretty catchy and sounds decent, but it has no identity. It just sounds like some left over Fifth Harmony songs from 2015. I mean it’s not bad while it’s on, but there’s much better pop ... read more
Idk what you guys are talking about. This is REAL music. You guys just wanna hear some mumble crapper moan into a mic with some autotune on and rap about their bitches and hoes and their drugs and guns. Well guess what? That’s not what AC/DC is about ok. They make REAL music, and you guys are just a bunch of whiny crybaby millennials if you disagree.
Ok in all seriousness I couldn’t care less about this. I’m not an AC/DC fan or anything so idc at all but it’s not all ... read more
One of the more fun listening experiences I’ve had all year.
I had never heard Aesop Rock’s music before, but I had heard good things about him before listening to this. I was hopeful that I’d like this, but a little worried due to the runtime of the album. But this is really good, even if it is too long and a little samey.
This had the potential to possibly be the best rap project of the year. But even as is, it’s still one of the best and incredibly enjoyable. The ... read more
Until he returns....in a week lmao
So it’s time for the weekly Youngboy release....and surprise, it’s not good.
I’m not even a Youngboy hater but Jesus STOP DROPPING SO MUCH MUSIC LMAO. I commended him on his last project by saying that even with how much music he drops that his music is still at least kinda listenable, but that is not really the case on this one. Yeah theres not much on here that’s outright terrible, but the mixing is literally the worst I’ve ... read more
I really like this, and I still think she has a lot more potential and room for improvement. Excited to see where her career goes.
I had never heard of Benee, but the list of features and collaborators on here had me intrigued. And I’m really glad I checked this out because this is really good.
Hey u x isn’t the most groundbreaking album or anything, but it masterfully jumps from style to style with some quality production, catchy and interesting songwriting, and great ... read more
Discovering Phoebe's music has made my 2020 a lot better. And this beautiful cover is no exception.
Ok I kinda like this remix, but it has nothing to do with Kanye.
I hated the the original single. But something has clicked. DaBaby’s verse is great and so is 2 Chainz’s. The beat is still not my favorite or anything but the additions make it better and actually listenable..
The more emotional and personal songs are surprisingly good, but they aren’t enough to make up for the weaker points.
I love 2 Chainz and I really enjoyed his last album, but this is just not what I know he is capable of. It’s not bad and is decent, but neither him or the features he brings come through with a lot that is interesting. The beats can be really good, but this just feels a step backwards for 2 Chainz overall.
