First impression: very claustrophobic and evocative stuff right here. It’s an album that warrants a listen in a dark room, where you can’t escape its harrowing presentation. Where their past albums contained humor, there is now grief instead, existing in nearly every moment.
Good shtuff. Narrator was the theme song to my life for a while
Favorite Tracks: G.S.K.; NARRATOR; BOY RACERS; PADDLING; 2010; PEEL ST.; PAMPHLETS
I don't think I've ever listened to an album that feels this separated from all other music in regards to its structure. It all feels so cohesive, yet so chaotic. All of it is mostly improvised, yet it all feels fully-realized. Noice.
Favorite Tracks: PHARAOH'S DANCE; BITCHES BREW; SPANISH KEY
It becomes briefly self-indulgent here and there, but otherwise, it's pretty dank my guy.
Favorite Tracks: Tracks 1-5 tbh
Least Favorite Track: IT MUST BE A CAMEL
I listened to this album last year. Do I remember anything about it? Not really. Do I want to re-listen to it? No.

A master lyricist, a musical omnivore, Chance and his family of producers and instrumentalists channel all the big emotions of the big day in a swirl of bliss, marital and otherwise.
Favorite Track: fuck you
One of the few albums out there that prompted me to re-listen to it immediately after hearing it for the first time (wordplay intended).
Favorite Track: the one where it’s an insecure guy aggressively telling a jam band about his awkward life
The most perfectly timed album ever? Probs.
Favorite Tracks: YANKEE AND THE BRAVE; OOH LA LA; OUT OF SIGHT; HOLY CALAMAFUCK; WALKING IN THE SNOW; JU$T; NEVER LOOK BACK; A FEW WORDS FOR THE FIRING SQUAD
Ok, cool. I didn’t think such a minimal album would be so interesting to me, but the simple and catchy grooves work really well with the paranoid vocals. Really odd and different, but it’s incredibly influential, too.
Favorite Tracks: GHOST RIDER; FRANKIE TEARDROP; CHE
Least Favorite Track: ROCKET USA
It’s good good job
Favorite Tracks: I WANT YOU TO LOVE ME; SHAMEIKA; UNDER THE TABLE; NEWSPAPER; HEAVY BALLOON; COSMONAUTS; FOR HER
Least Favorite Track: LADIES
This is the type of album that you think is ok, but you can’t stop coming back to it. Good stuff, breh.
Favorite Tracks: HUN; POURRITURE 2; Z; CUT DICK; JO; POSITIF; POURRITURE 7
Least Favorite Track: STEROIDS
Sister Ray goes way too hard my dude.
Also, is no one gonna mention how insane THE GIFT is? That track is literally structured for you to listen to the music only or the story only or both. Wtf kinda genius nonsense is that? It’s incredible.
Favorite Tracks: WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT; THE GIFT; SISTER RAY
Aw hell yeah... potassium.
Favorite Tracks: SUNDAY MORNING; HEROIN; every other track too, but especially the two I mentioned specifically
A very enjoyable new wave album that just feels... alive. Also, it has very relatable lyrics, especially the ones related to depression and isolation. Good times.
My personal faves are the first two tracks and GIANT (never have I felt so satisfied and never-bored while listening to a 9-minute song). Seriously, check this album out.
Favorite Tracks: I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR TOMORROW (ALL OF MY LIFE); THIS IS THE DAY; UNCERTAIN SMILE; GIANT; PERFECT
“TEaAtB” is definitely one of the more rewarding listening experiences I have had this year, and one of the more clean-cut and consistent records I’ve heard in a while. It’s the trio’s classic assortment of tracks in a darker, albeit familiar, arrangement and style.
Each track includes a feeling of terror and brute energy, which is especially perfect for my current shitty attitude toward life at the moment (although I don’t think that had too much of an ... read more
Whoa... Respect.
Favorite Track: MY TRAINS
Least Favorite Track: EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND
How does someone make something that sounds harsh and bright at the same time? I think that Blanck Mass has nearly perfected the glittery industrial music that he showcased on his previous albums, especially World Eater. Although not every moment on this album was fantastic to me, I found this album extremely entertaining, and I can’t wait for the next Blanck Mass offering.
Favorite Tracks: DEATH DROP; HUSH MONEY; LOVE IS A PARASITE; NO DICE
