Before you stands an album crafted with inhuman precision, an album that no word in this language other than "undeniable" may describe.
There are no useless beats, no wasted seconds, no dispensable additions. No marigolds in the promised land. No minds capable of replicating the same. To claim it lacks soul is dismissive and blind. To claim it's too technical is nonsense conjured to justify a misalignment of taste and product. Gaucho is the first piece of art to achieve true ... read more
About damn time I checked out primus. I liked this album a lot, the bass on this thing is stellar the whole way through. Sadly this album dropped in quality really hard in the second half for me.
Favorites: Frizzle Fry, John the Fisherman
Least favorite: Spagetti Western, Pudding Time
For those unaware, the Caeser Demos is a 100-minute long experience consisting of quebec demos and demos of unreleased songs. In my opinion, it is absolutely worth listening to in its entirety, but I understand why someone wouldn't.
If nothing else though, listen to Things You Already Know. It's probably one of my favorite songs of all time.
Favorites: Things You Already Know, Tried and True, Hello Johnny, Zoloft, That Man, Don't Let The Moon Catch You Cryin'

The fact that I could hum the melody to 98% of the tracks here shows you how iconic this OST is. Straight fucking banger after banger and I love how it reminded me of the game's progression as the album itself progressed. My one complaint is that Toby Fox reuses his melodies pretty often, and it isn't just on the reprise tracks.
Top 5:
1. Fallen Down (Reprise)
2. SAVE The World
3. Finale
4. Dummy!
5. MEGALOVANIA

I listened to this with a twitch streamer. This is also my first logic experience.
Wow, I'm impressed. I always thought Logic wasn't a great artist for some stupid ass reason but this album changed my perspective a lot. Tracks 2-5 are phenomenal. This isn't the most consistent project at ALL, but it has some great highs. Especially the jazz rap tracks.
Also wow do the skits throw the flow of this off. The transition from village slum to highlife was pretty smooth but that's the only ... read more
This is a solid album but why do all of these songs sound the exact fucking same? It's weird because it's only the verses that do that, once the instrumental segments hit they're completely different tracks. But otherwise, it's all indistinguishable. Aside from Hang em High.
Welp, at least it sounds pretty good. But I don't really like it.
Favorites: Helena, Ghost of you, To the End.
Least favorite: Give 'em Hell, Kid
Weakest Earl album so far, 100%. The beats are just not there, they don't compliment Earl's rapping very well. As for his actual rapping, it's also not as good here as previous albums. The songs that I did like though were really good.
Favorites: Lye, Fire in the Hole
Least favorite: Titanic.
It's been a real interesting experience, going through this man's discography. Earl Sweatshirt is a one-of-a-kind artist, and I'm glad he gets the attention he does. I think I'll stop here now.

Hmm, very inconsistent. There are some great tracks on here but for the most part, it's kind of mediocre. This album does end very strongly though.
Favorites: Burgundy, Chum, Whoa, Hoarse, Knight
Least favorite: Sasquatch, Centurion, Pre
Though sometimes the songs go a bit overboard (like in Dayum, Germs and Rock N Roll is Dead) in their weirdness, and the album drops in quality as it progresses, for the most part this album is full of bangers. I'm pretty surprised considering I never thought of myself as someone who likes industrial music of any kind, but looking back on it that was a pretty dumb assumption.
Also, even though I don't really care for the song, Panic Emoji's use of the zaytoven ahh is god damn ... read more
This can kinda be considered an EP like "Uneven Compromise" is. The only difference is that, while UC is notably split into multiple songs, this isn't that, it's just a full song.
What is this about? Well, it appears to be a goodbye song from LUM. It's him explaining why he did this rap thing in the first place and how he grew fed up with it. It's more of an experience that you read with some nice audio in the back. I personally am not all that crazy about it, but I like the words LUM ... read more
The beats are a little lackluster, but if Earl's writing isn't as top-notch as ever. His flow and words make some of the tracks here.
Favorite: Wool, Inside, AM//RADIO, Faucet
Least favorite: Grown Ups
with songs 3-7 being as weak as they are, it's difficult to look this album in a positive manner. However, considering the quality of the first 2 tracks, 8-12, and ESPECIALLY the tracks "Stressed" and "So Much More", this album was still a very enjoyable experience.
Favorites: Stressed, Tear Gas, So Much More, God Don't Make Mistakes
Least favorite: John Woo Flick, Wild Chapters
Beautiful. Wow, this is beautiful.
Not only is this the best Japanese pop album I've ever heard, but this is just straight up one of the best pop albums ever. The happy feelings, the jazzy and lush instrumentation, God, it's just perfect. The switch between the male and female vocalists in this album adds a great bit of spice to it, and man those synths/keyboards are great.
Please listen to this, man. Please listen to this album. It is so good. I didn't expect to fall in love with this 33 ... read more
Golfball man album wasn't that good, I'm not gonna lie, but i didn't hate it.
Favorite: Gut Feeling (this song is really good, everything else is eh)
Least favorite: Satisfaction.
The country song being the only yellow track on here is wild. I agree though it isn't great, but not the worst song here.
This isn't a particularly great album, but god damn if it doesn't have incredible songs. Yesterday is a prime example of how to write a sad folk song, Help!, Dizy Miss Lizzy, and You're going to lose that girl are bangers, and The Night Before is a pretty damn good song too.
Favorites: yesterday, help!, The Night Before
Least favorite: I've just seen a face,
Much like other people, I was introduced to this band by the opening song of this album, "overture to the sun". That is one of the best folk songs I've ever heard in my life, so I came into this album expecting quite a lot of good. And I gotta admit, for the most part, my expectations were met. Let me get into the bad things about this album first.
First of all, this album is isn't the best-produced. The opening track for whatever reason is an exception, but otherwise the songs kind ... read more
I'm very glad I decided to expand my musical horizons, because I don't think I'd appreciate this album as much if i didn't.
A while ago I probably would've called this thing boring, but this album just makes me so happy man. I really do love it. This entire thing sounds like video game OST, it's so ahead of it's time.

Ween collaborated with a band I dont know of. Had to listen to this since ween is on it.
If you sift through all the noise and weirdness, you'll find yourself an incredible album. Unfortunately it's an album plagued with a few bad songs, questionable moments, and the noise and weirdness you need to sift through in the first place.
It's still great though.
Favorites: the Meadow, in the garden, love like cement, I get a little taste of you.

At first this album was telling me that I am indeed not a fan of math rock. I really disliked the first 3 songs... but then once Near DT, MI came on, I don't know, I think something just clicked with me. This album gets weirder and weirder as the songs progress man.
Sadly 33% of the track listing sucks to me, so I can't give this a very high rating. Bordering on an 8. Good album overall.
Favorites: Near DT, MI, Western, Of Schlagenheim
