Nina Simone - Broadway • Blues • Ballads
78

A true legend of jazz, even if I think this is one of her more decent albums.

Favorite song is "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood"
Least favorite song is "How Can I?"

Simon & Garfunkel - Wednesday Morning, 3AM
74

Humble beginnings for what would become the most iconic folk rock duo in history.

Favorite song is "The Sound of Silence", but that's a boring answer, so my second favorite song is "Bleecker Street"
Least favorite song is "The Sun Is Burning"

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
88

I support women's rights, but more importantly, I also support women's wrongs.

Favorite song is "YES GODDD"
Least favorite song is "I'M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS" (not bad at all btw. This whole album is filled with heaters)

The Rolling Stones - 12 X 5
72

These guys have been old men for literally my entire life, so it is incredibly jarring to hear Keith Richards and Mick Jagger sounding my age.

Favorite song is "It's All Over Now"
Least favorite song is "Grown Up Wrong"

The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones
75

It's very straight-forward rock. Not much to say here... other than wow, I never knew that this is where the end credits song from "Cars" came from.

Favorite song is "Route 66"
Least favorite song is "Walking the Dog" (the whistling really got on my nerves after a while)

Robyn - Sexistential
84

Robyn is so underappreciated as a pop artist. I hope this blows up.
That song about wanting Adam Driver to be your sperm donor was really weird, but you know what? Go off, queen.

Favorite song is "Dopamine"
Least favorite song is the title track (it's not bad, it's just... bizarre)

The Kinks - Kinks
70

Not bad, but not really much that makes them stand out... other than "You Really Got Me". Had no idea that this is where that originated.

Favorite song is "You Really Got Me"
Least favorite song is "Bald Headed Woman"

The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
76

I personally feel that this is their weakest album, but that's not to say that its bad. It's just to say how amazing the rest of their discography is that this is the lowest point.

Favorite song is the title track
Least favorite song is "I'll Cry Instead"

RAYE - THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.
98

My album of the year so far. All of the tracks were fantastic. She needs to be a superstar, like, yesterday.

Favorite song is "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!"
Least favorite song is... I don't know, they were all so good. If I had to pick the least good one... probably "Click Clack Symphony", but getting Hans Zimmer to be one of your features is such a crazy flex.

Johnny Cash - I Walk the Line
85

If you don't fuck with Johnny Cash, then I'm sorry, but we're just not the same species.

Favorite song is "Folsom Prison Blues"
Least favorite song is "Understand Your Man"

Loretta Lynn - Loretta Lynn Sings
72

It just has that warm and comforting sound to it, like your mother hugging nice and tight. (Yes, your mother, specifically)

Favorite song is "Act Naturally"
Least favorite song is "The Minute You're Gone"

The Beatles - With The Beatles
77

A step down from their debut, but still worth your time.

Favorite song is "All My Loving"
Least favorite song is "Little Child"

The Beatles - Please Please Me
81

Always willing to give these under-the-radar bands a bit more exposure. Can't let the big names hog the spotlight all the time.

Favorite song is the title track
Least favorite song is "I Saw Her Standing There"

The Beach Boys - Surfin' Safari
64

God, things were so different back then. A band would make one genuinely good song, and then they would have to make filler around it just to sell an album. The 60s were quite a time.

Favorite song is the title track
Least favorite song is "Ten Little Indians"

Luke Combs - The Way I Am
61

God, why are country albums SO LONG T-T
The album itself is whatever, it has its peaks and valleys, but the absolutely crushing length really drags it down for me.

Favorite song is "Back in the Saddle"
Least favorite song is "Alcohol of Fame" (ChatGPT-ass song titles)

Exodus - Goliath
68

A late career thrash metal romp. If you liked their older stuff, you won't feel too out of place here. Not their best, but still enjoyable.

Favorite song is "The Changing Me"
Least favorite song is "2 Minutes Hate"

Poison the Well - Peace In Place
82

Has it really been over 15 years??? Last time these guys dropped, I was still in elementary school. And fortunately, they sound like they haven't missed a beat.

Favorite song is "Everything Hurts"
Least favorite song is "Melted"

Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan
78

Just a guy with his voice, a guitar, and a harmonica, singing songs. Humble beginnings for one of the most influential musicians in American history. A pretty solid debut that hints at greater things to come.

Favorite song is "House of the Risin' Sun"
Least favorite song is "Pretty Peggy-O"

Stevie Wonder - The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie
65

Ya like jazz?

I always forget that Stevie Wonder has been at this for literally his entire life. Absolute legend status.

Favorite song is "Fingertips"
Least favorite song is "Paulsby"

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
76

It's a double album, so it gets the right to be a little bit messy, but I enjoyed this. Of the "big three" of rap, I'd say it's Kendrick on top, J. Cole in the middle, [POWER GAP], and Drake.

Favorite song is "WHO TF IZ U"
Least favorite song is "Man Up Above"
