the thing about this album is that, although the music is good, it just pales in comparison to their later stuff. the first song is really close to being amazing but it just falls a little short. you can really hear their future work in this one though.
this whole album is just so fucking good. gets a 100 for Hope being on the album
took me quite a few listens to love every song just because of how long the whole thing is.
the mood of the whole album is so happy. i really like every single song on this one.
you can really hear the improvement between this one and soundtracks and then even further to tago mago.
yoo doo right is a certified banger though.
Pulldrone is easily the most interesting and most important track to this EP. Amber Waves makes me experience the Ring.
HOLY PEAK
its only a 99 cause the loudness across this album is so inconsistent. why the fuck do we need the coughing at the beginning of sweet leaf to be LOUDER than the guitar right after it?? and why is embryo so much louder than after forever???
all that being said this is my favorite sabbath album. its just so consistent and the riffs are absolutely fantastic.
Me who has only listened to the Beatles White Album, listening to Sky Blue Sky: Getting a lot of 'White Album' vibes from this...
