beats are really solid, but Thug is the highlight. This is really gas. hooks and chorus are emmaculate. this is what i was searching for.
THUGGER HAS BEEN RELEASED. TIME TO RE-LISTEN TO HIS BEST RECORD
Wyclef Jean (the track) is so good. Best Young Thug song imo. I also love Floyd Mayweather, but I will say this one had to grow on me a bit. It literally embodies a "classic" of the era it came out if that makes sense. The hook of Guwop is too good as well. RiRi and Future Swag are ... read more
not bad but not crazy enough for a travis album. only one crazy song. i need more.

This thing has reached a whole new level of significance for me on my second listen. I love how this thing comments on so many different aspects of society. Each song is unique but similar at the same time. Though I loved the direction of this thing, the soundscape was a bit too repetitive at times, and there were a couple of tracks that aren't needed.
heavenly beats with some very solid vocals. Very good rap. nothing crazy outside of nas and alchemist but very nice.
Best use of sampling since Madvillainy. Danny Brown and Peggy do a great job of complementing each other and the sole redveil feature is elite.
really nice listen as a whole, but most songs dont have replay value
i mean it was alright but too laid back for me. not necessarily a bad things with unique instrumentals, but this album didnt really have that too much. we find love is heat though
right off the bat the intro is feeling very smooth and jazzy but the sounds and instrumentals aren't as diverse as they've been in the past. In the next few tracks, the instrumentals improved a bit but still wasn't what I had seen in past albums. westside gunn feature is incredible. Lots of nice chill tracks but nothing too crazy sonically. i love the emotion on show me and survivors guilt and head high. Both are incredible and are some of Joey's best songs. Despite some weak spots he really ... read more
melodies a bit worse and album more chill, which isn't necessarily a good thing in this case.
real consistent and good.

Bruh this thing is literally music to my ears. The guitars and his voice are mixed perfectly and it's just so pristine to listen to. Absolutely flawless mixing. As for the overall soundscape it was very dreamy, especially in Like Me, which is one of my favorite experimental tracks of all time. There really was only one mid track on this entire thing. The things Steve Lacy was talking about throughout this album feel so relatable and human while the ... read more
good intro. even from the first track were seeing a sound more clear and crisp, and not repetitive. Different instruments and drums since the last few albums. temptation, land of the free, devastated, y u d l m, are all vibey and rockabye baby and ring the alarm are both bangers. legendary is legendary. cool message. good. joey's second best. impeccable outro as well.
this album reminds me more and more of 1999. and I really liked 1999. piece of mind is so impeccable. I really hope this album will have as much variety as 1999 did. It has some variety, but the sounds aren't neccesarily diverse. Songs like Like Me bring some more variety to the album, and though I like the sound, I prefer the more various 1999. On and On is very good as well. This Raury feature is good. Black Beetles has such a good instrumental, one of Joey's best. OCB and Curry Chicken are ... read more
