Roll The Dice is pretty hard but the other two tracks are just standard trap. Marshmello doesn't do anything special with the production, so honestly you can just skip this thing altogether. Listen to Shoreline Mafia instead.
The production of this LP makes the band sound much more restrained than they are, which is a shame. Other than that, this album bores me most of the time, but there are still more good songs than bad, most of them are just so-so.

An album with tons of replay value. One of the best sets of art pop songs this year.

Biting rhymes matched with some high quality production. This is an all-around great album.
Over the last year I've seen a significant increase in Asian hip hop coverage from music outlets and increased promotion of Asian rap overseas. Between the recent XXX releases, Triad God, Dos Manos, and even the popular 88rising label, I've been very impressed with whats been coming from Asia; I know that's a huge generalization but all of these releases come from Eastern Asia and I don't understand a single word of any language spoken over there, so its not like I can judge anything on ... read more
Pretty good if you enjoy 50's and 60's vocal pop groups. Hunx and His Punx get pretty close to sounding like a punky version of The Shangri-Las or The Ronettes, as off-putting as that sounds its not bad. They don't really have much range though so the album becomes tiring about halfway through.
fav tracks: Too Young to Be in Love, Lovers Lane, Blow Me Away
Maybe this is why I've never listened to a full Vampire Weekend album. Man, these songs are just so boring to me and I think the main cause of that is Ezra Koenig's songwriting. He has great hooks and mostly pretty good instrumental arrangements + production, but fuck every word just sounds so uninspired. These singles revolve around the same tropes that have been beaten to a pulp by indie musicians in the past decade or so. Unbearably White and Harmony Hall are the strongest songs of this ... read more
Balanced my chakras, opened my third eye, gave off positive energy. Music for Meditation + Yoga is pretty good background music, as intended, but I still hoped to get a better followup from Kaitlyn after her stellar album last year.
