A despondent, abstract and fractured masterpiece.
It's an enthralling yet despondent display of captivating poetry. Some Rap Songs is Earl dealing with depression, anxiety and isolation (much like the album that preceded this) all while dealing with his complicated feelings towards his late father who abandoned him and his mom as a kid. What you get is then an intense and gloomy exploration of grief, regret and hope.

A nice little throwback...
Haven't listened to a lot of Billie since high school...
A bit melodramatic at times, but even this early on you can tell how carefully Billie constructs her verses. She’s raw, she's kinda funny, but surprisingly sharp—an unlikely mix that gives her harmonies a potent little punch. The production is adventurous too; even though it leans toward mellow tones, there’s enough explosiveness and left-field surprises scattered across these ... read more
'SATURATION II' finds BROCKHAMPTON sounding far more comfortable and free. The confidence of the group has noticeably increased, and that sense of liberation translates into a record that's incredibly fun to listen to. The chemistry between the members remains one of their greatest strengths, and the sheer energy they bring is infectious from start to finish.

The vulnerability displayed throughout the album is apluadable, and she fleshes out her flaws with remarkable honesty.
The production; subverting the expectations ... read more
It's brilliant.
This record is experimental, refracted, and reflective of FKA twigs herself. Despite its fragmented and idiosyncratic nature, the delicacy of her character is never lost in her steadfastness. Throughout the album she conjures an ethereal, beautiful otherworldliness that feels uniquely her own.
After reading about here publicly ostrisized relationship and health related misfortunes in the hiatus years leading up to this album (you can read about all that online) it really ... read more
SATURATION is just a fun album. The dynamic raps are consistently entertaining and engaging, and the chemistry between the group members is one of the project's greatest strengths, the synergy is especially impressive considering the size of the group. Everyone pulls their weight, and because they don't take themselves overly seriously, there's an infectious energy that runs throughout the record.
The songwriting is built around relatively simple song structures, but that ... read more
