I think something is wrong with my utopia.
Travis Scott is undoubtedly a heartless guy, but that doesn't disqualify his talent. Someone's morals don't have any correlation with the quality of their art. Anyways... so the wait was worth it after all then. Utopia was a very enjoyable experience, not something you get very often with rap albums at the moment. Veteran has a special place in my heart as it helped me get into the experimental side of music in general. Tyler escapes from the sound that made him rise to fame, and surprises everyone with his switch from a darker to a more upbeat sound and atmosphere. Exceeding the already brilliant production from his last album which let him shift his sound into anything he wanted to, Tyler decided to create an R&B album which displays him falling in love, making the album more accessible and relatable to the public.
Tyler gives us more of his typically beautiful synths throughout the album which is ... read more
