Veteran has a special place in my heart as it helped me get into the experimental side of music in general. It's probably what moulded a significant amount of my music taste, and it's up to you to decide if that's either a good or a bad thing. The unpredictable yet at the time great friendship between Kanye West and Kid Cudi shines through on this album, it's hard to ignore or deny it. They weren't afraid to give it their all on this project, and while they didn't give us much time to display that, they certainly didn't waste any of it, giving us no space to breathe. I think all of the songs add something to this album, which is partly also what I think makes this album feel so complete to me.
