This album has instruments that are in-tune. Some of the songs have hooks. There’s rapping. The features are not the worst part of this album. Oil from Bring Me sounds good. Iann Dior sounds pretty good. The final moments of twin flame are a nice moment…

Just not a super consistent album especially when you have some banger singles.
Probably the best version of ska and the little more punk is much appreciated. Still an album that shouldn’t be 19 songs.

It’s just an incredibly solid release. Extra marks for having no misses, extra marks for the voice and the way they use it on melodies through out the album.
Just a pleasing experience. The instrumentation is just such a breeze, no pun intended. A very pretty record with a few moments of heaviness that is very welcomed.
There’s just an overwhelming semblance that this is a horror movie on tape. The textures, the narrative, the suspense, the action. Do you know how good an album has to be to make white noise feel contextual and beautiful and it’s just a small part of the overall album? Somehow it’s just put in the middle of the track-list and I immediately went, “Oh no, I get it. It’s that Silent Hill level of intrigue and the less you see, the more you want.”
Wasn’t depressed enough to give this a higher rating. Incredible second half.
Over time, I think Lone Star holds up just as high as Twin Size Mattress.
Despite this being more or less a two song album, For You is another highlight that needs a shout out.
This album feels like it should give you some power buff for playing it. Unrelenting.
