in the big '25, the LAST thing i expected was a killer Lil Darkie album.
I have been, whether my choice or not, listening to Mr. Darkie's music on and off for the last 4 years. of all those moments spent, i would struggle to count on one hand the number of times i enjoyed what i was hearing, or thought very much of it. seeing this album being well-received was MASSIVE whiplash. I never thought he was capable, or at least willing to make something this good.
I never thought that i ... read more
can't believe the REAL Spongebob made this IN Fortnite. masterpiece 100/100
Day 1 thoughts: Better than I expected from the singles (title track is amazing though). Better than 'Softscars'. Feels like it takes the electronic elements of 'Softscars' and turns that into a full album, with some alt-rock tracks here and there. I wish it was a bit longer. I feel slightly robbed. Some of these songs just kinda cut off seemingly. Nonetheless, a decent flow. Not underwhelming but not mind-blowing either. Gonna have to let this one cook for a while. There is ... read more
this is fantastic idc what anyone says. awesome mixtape. 2 hours of BASED music. what more could you ask for. I luv you BasedGod. unironically one of my favorite rap albums ever now. SO GOOD. TYBG!!
after about half a dozen listens over the last two and a half days, I can confidently say that 'The OOZ' is quite possibly my favorite album ever. this could simply be the honeymoon period, but I don't think so. sounds don't age, but we do. things lose their shine to us, or the bread goes stale, but that doesn't mean we can't, in that particular moment, enjoy it, or in this instance, feel it. i feel like this album does something for me that's very similar to ... read more
This is the "WE'RE SO BACK" album...and WE ARE!!!!!!!
BC,NR. FRIENDS FOREVER. HOW LONG? FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OG Review: The most overrated album of all time....
yeah okay, I was wrong. i just needed the right mindset when I heard it. awesome album. sounds like nothing else, which doesn't make it good, but it makes for a very special listen IF it clicks
it's like being crushed into a million little pieces, melted down, and reshaped into a rainbow every three or so minutes
THEY DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I LOVE YOU!
fav track: Lucifèrine
ichiko aoba once again makes something beautiful. full of life and color. this album feels like walking through a rainbow. it feels like magic. getting swept up by waves and going with the tide. coming back to shore whole. it's existing in the moment. catapulting structures into our ears and seeping into our hearts. simply astonishing work
HOW DID I NEVER RATE THIS ALBUM!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?
Anyways, yeah, new BC,NR album is on the horizon. So excited. Literally ecstatic. It feels like it's been forever since we got "Live at Bush Hall" which, by the way, is suuuuuuuuper good (and shockingly overlooked?)! Well, I'll get straight to it. Half of this album is perfect. The other half is ok. Just okay. Like, I can barely describe how 'Track X' makes me feel. A beautiful song that, although is more ... read more
listened to some of magdelene last night and it almost ruined the whole evening. on the edge of tears the whole time. i looked like :( for the entire listen
thanks FKA TWIGS for making something that doesn't make me feel sad. this album is funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
full actual review is probably never dropping, so uhm yeah this album is rly good guys, but give it more time. it's only 7 and a half hours old
Throwing hands with myself over how long I put this album on the back burner for other stuff. It's so good oh MY GOSH IT'S SO GOOD
I can't quite recall the last time that I truly had a lot of fun while listening to an album. Some individual songs, sure, but a WHOLE ALBUM? That's rare. But alas, here it is! I was locked in from track 1-16 thouroughly. This might be one of those off cases where I listen to the deluxe version just to get more MOTOMAMI. Can't get enough

Didn't see I hadn't rated this album until just now...well, what can I say? This album is him.
This album rules. I no joke didn't expect what I got. I don't think anyone can really prepare for an album this varied. It's lush and layered, then the very next song is some stripped-down dance beat. THEN THERE'S TRIP-HOP?!?!?
Oh my lord Gustavo Cerati, you did it all here.
It's undeniably one of the best albums EVER. THIS THING IS SO GOOD
