The Byrds - Fifth Dimension
79

Not my favorite album by The Byrds but i love the move to a more psychedelic sound from that makes for some enagging and in depth listen with impressive riffs and overall soundscape and some of their best songs namely Eight Miles High but some songs don't add much to the overall experience for me like the closing track and I Come and Stand at Every Door.

The The - Soul Mining
88

The The's debut, Soul Mining, is a classic within the New Wave era, with some of the most interesting ideas and sounds to come out of the early 80's, there is nothing short of excellence when it comes to this album soundscape and alongside the conscious melancholic lyrics creating this existential dread works for wonders and leaves a lasting impact on the listener.

Ghost - IMPERA
56

Ghost decides to go full 80's hard rock on their latest album, taking a huge influence from the AOR movement and well although there are some albums i like from that generation and it is clear those are which Ghost choose to take influence, it mostly just falls flat for the band. The overall, themes and story is interesting but most of the songs call off as well safe, and too focus on sounding 80's that a lot of songwriting which i loved from Opus Eponymous seems to be gone. There are ... read more

Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future
88

Do I Love Denzel Curry? Yes, of course. Is he one of my favorite rappers in the last 10 years? Most definitely. Do i listen to him way too much? I would personally call it an addiction. So you know when this album dropped I've been listening non stop for 24 hours and for me this is easily another fantastic album by the artist and sees Denzel Curry go back to a more conscious, well string together collection of tracks which tackle political and social issues surround death and his life which ... read more

Ray Charles - The Genius of Ray Charles
83

One of Ray Charles more iconic bodies of work whilst containing some of his more underrated tracks such as Come Rain or Come Shine and although some may argue the big band production takes a lot from Ray C harles vocals for me they do nothing but enough how powerful his voice truly his and how potent it is in a song both in telling a story and how it sounds with the passion and loving sounds coming off. Ray Charles may be a genius.

Morrissey - Vauxhall and I
75

Not really my favorite solo Morrissey album but still a strong set of songs and a highlight in his solo career, containing some great songs, which are highlights in his career, such as the lead single The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get and Now My Heart is Full, but often some song don't add much to the overall experience. Vauxhall and I is an album which is openly quite lonely but at times with that comes off quite forced and times unnerving obsessive and although this is nothing new in ... read more

One of Madonna's shining albums filled with some of her most creative ideas bursting out. Ray of Light is an art pop driven record filled with many aspects of Trip Hop and Downtempo for an atmospheric listen which is both relaxing, introspective and strangely spiritual and was an important album in the landscape of pop music and although many strengths of the music is not due to Madonna but more the production, Madonna manages to highlights the strengths of the record with her vocals.

Although, Leonard Cohen step into Sophisti-Pop is seen as one of his weaker era in his career, I'm Your Man still shines as a grea body of work filled with potent lyrics, his unique interesting approach to vocal and delivery makes for a dark, introspective album filled with interesting sounds and ideas and although he would not continue this in his future records. On Katie Pruitt - Expectations
"I find the vocal melodies easily the strongest point of the album and the lyrics are not subtle but i think it works well within the album favor because it not really a subtl record itself in my opinion. From what i remember i found the instrumentals and production rather boring and the overall sound of the album to be dull which meant that the lyrics and the album as a whole didn't really connect with me. I haven't listen to it in a while but i can't remember much about it expect Out Of The Blue that has grow on me a bit."

On The Who - Tommy
"I don't just do my track rating by track by track. I do it by if the track adds to the album has an experience. Tommy is a very good record and if i didn't have the track ratings it would still get the same score mainly due the concept itself doesn't add much to the my overall enjoyment of the album. Every track is based on my enjoy-ability whether that be production, lyrics, melodies, instrumentals, transition into other songs, its involved and importance within the album, and whether it has impacted me personally (which at the end of the day it subjective) etc. I have listened to this album plenty of times but most of the time i feel especially with this album i wouldn't add anything new to the conversation. Maybe i just don't fully grasp that concept and therefore can't appreciated as much as other people but at least not everyone is going to agree with music."

"@kareenak yh out of all the K-pop band, BTS is the one with the most freedom but I am taking about the genre as a whole and even Jessica Hyun-ju Ho said they are genuine friends but she even stated that many bands in the genre don't like each other and that is the aspect I am talking about. Also, you are trying to say that just because i have this view point that it is xenophobiac when i stated that I like the band Otoboke beaver, and i also like; Akira Yamaoka, BABYMETAL, Run River North and Yuna, music from the other parts of the world in fact has some great stuff out there which i probably haven't heard i, but i don't like restricting people just because their are musicians "
