Favorite: Here Is The Thing, The Chuckler, Windsor Hum, Up The Tower, Half Sister
Least Favorites: A Private Understanding, Male Plague
It feels like a new direction for MGMT, but a step in the right direction. More synths and definitely less upbeat than prior work. I love it and its definitely my first real contender for AOTY
Favorite Tracks: Little Dark Age, When You Die, Me and Michael, One Thing Left To Try, Hand It Over
Least Favorite: TSLAMP, Days That Got Away
Talk about a grower, first listen: 40, Second listen: 60, Third listen: 75 Third and Beyond: 95
As I listen more, and hear all the detail in the production, I find myself loving this more and more
edit: It just keeps getting better, im actually angry at myself for sleeping on this
A decent album, good for a listen, but nothing about it stands out to me as being great.
Favorites: Ullswater, Opener
Least Favorite: Static Resistance, The Soft Season
Compared to Beaucoup Fish this album feels more focused and clean. Its an excellent album

If you're going to copy Swans, this is a good way to do it
Favorites: Dust on Trial, Concrete, Gold Hold, Angie
Least Favorite: One Rizia, Donk,
Edit: After multiple listens, it does not stand up.
Its an excellent album, but I refuse to give it a high score based on the length alone. While it makes sense both in and out of th game, sitting down and listening to an album for nearly 3hrs becomes tedious after a while. Its a very minor complaint and does no detract from the excellent music
Favorite Tracks: Inkwell Isle One, Floral Fury, Inkwell Isle Two, Pyramid Peril, Coin-Op Bop, The Kings Court
Least Favorite: Dont Deal With The Devil, Elder Kettle (Piano), A Quick Break
I feel like it should have been impossible to release 4 albums in a year, let alone 4 albums of high quality. But sure enough they've done it. This album is not AOTY by a long shot but it is their best offering of the year thus far.
Favorite Tracks: Crumbling Castle, Inner Cell
Least Favorite: Polygondwanaland, Searching...
I have no words for this album, upon my first listen I loved it, upon the second listen I was hooked, and by my 4th listen today alone i'm convinced this is AOTY.
The songs are so complex, every time I listen I hear something new to love and appreciate. The production is solid and I cant help but smile and fall in love with each additional listen. This is a happier and more expansive Mutant.
Favorite Tracks: Super Ink Burst, Bug Thief, White Gum, Zen Champ

Both this and Vol. 1 work hand in hand. Which ever one is better is up in the air, they both offer different sounds. But the two of them back to back makes a varied and interesting hour or so of music and I'm more than willing to go back to both.
Favorite Songs: Don't Hurt, Jumpstarting, It's A Whale, Tiny Fortunes
Least Favorite: Look How Clean I Am, Want/Needs
This album just feels like the fall. Its mood is neither too sad or dreary its a perfect night time drive home with the windows down.
Favorite Tracks: Sea Of Clouds, Card House, Cocktail, End of the World

Why does this album feel like what I wanted Humanz to be?
Edit: It's grown on me
