my favorite album i’ve heard in the past year or so, mac just makes me want to live life to the fullest, enjoy myself. knowing i’m only getting older yet i still want to be a kid again, mac made me realize i need to stop worrying aboiy what’s next and to live in the moment. i’m young, ima smoke my weed get drunk and have fun

the best trap album, pain, self destructive nature, lost in his rapper lifestyle, wanting himself back but knowing he’s too far gone, drugs theses themes build this album into what it is. on this album future tells about his rich life but the pain is still there, he’s hurting himself with all the decisions he makes but doesn’t even attempt to change anymore cuz he knows he so far gone, he truly became a monster in his words.

mac knows his new lifestyle can come with consequences, he knows he built a drug addiction that might take him out, he knows this could be last tape ever. mac is so self aware and vulnerable talking about how materialistic things don’t help, how his drug addiction taking him over and effects his everyday life but needs it to help the pain of loss, the pressure of being a star and self hate. mac ends the album of with grand finale a amazing track putting everything out on the floor cuz he knows the drugs catching up to him.

jayz comes full circle talking about his ignorant young days, womanizing, how becoming a fathe makes u look at life different, jayz puts all his emotion in this to say he’s sorry for how he used to act, he realized what he’s done but he’s grown now and has the strength to fight his past or figuretivly kill his old self and ego

couple themes this album covers self acceptance/self hate, having someone to lean on in ur darkest times will make much more bearable, feeling like giving up but still persevering and making it through
